A commenter in my blog has also told me the same: that he will says he killed her because of some kind of mental insanity. I really feel that he is a bastard: pleading insanity for killing her daughter when he actually knew what he was doing and wanted to do it, is actualy perverting the law.

With his performance in court his lawyer’s probably setting up a mental defect defense. I’m betting he avoids the punishment he deserves, which will encourage other “honor” killings.
