To be fair it does keep them from blowing up infidels which is an affront to Islamic sensibilities. From The Freep:
Saying that body scanners violate Islamic law, Muslim-American groups are supporting a “fatwa†– a religious ruling – that forbids Muslims from going through the scanners at airports.
The Fiqh Council of North America – a body of Islamic scholars that includes some from Michigan – issued a fatwa this week that says going through the airport scanners would violate Islamic rules on modesty.
“It is a violation of clear Islamic teachings that men or women be seen naked by other men and women,†reads the fatwa issued Tuesday. “Islam highly emphasizes haya (modesty) and considers it part of faith. The Quran has commanded the believers, both men and women, to cover their private parts.â€
The decision could complicate efforts to intensify screening of potential terrorists who are Muslim. After the Christmas Day bombing attempt in Detroit by a Muslim suspect from Nigeria, some have called for the use of body scanners at airports to find explosives and other dangerous materials carried by terrorists. Some airports are now in the process of buying and using the body scanners, which show in graphic detail the outlines of a person’s body.
But Muslim groups say the scanners go against their religion. One option offered to passengers who don’t want to use the scanners would be a pat down by a security guard. The Muslim groups are urging members to undergo those instead.
Two members of the Fiqh Council are from Michigan, Imam Hassan Qazwini of the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, and Imam Ali Suleiman Ali of the Canton Mosque. “Fiqh†means Islamic jurisprudence.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations, which has a chapter in Michigan, says it endorses the fatwa.
“We support the Fiqh Council’s statement on full-body scanners and believe that the religious and privacy rights of passengers can
be respected while maintaining safety and security,†said Nihad Awad, national executive director of CAIR.
Oh, CAIR supports this? Well it’s not as if four of their ranking members have been charged with terrorism, or that Michigan is a hot bed of Islamism. I mean, there’s no ulterior motive for Muslims linked to anti-government radicalism to want a less secure process in airports, right?

I agree with your basic theory that feminism is not the root cause of the problems people are complaining about. However, for a significant sector of people (namely, men), the perception exists that it is the most urgent problem. Therefore, it must be handled or perceptions must change. I am trying to change perceptions. It isn’t clear from your post, but have you taken the time to read what on The Spearhead? I know Lady Raine paints a desolate picture here, and she’s certainly entitled to her opinion, but I’d ask you what your honest opinion is of my piece?

Or perhaps you could find a post I’ve written that concerns rank effeminacy (which is what your blog traffics in) and insert links to the tearful soliloquies that describe how all your personal failings (which come from weakness and degeneracy) are really the fault of feminists. But this boot-licking come on, pasted into a post Islamic imperialism and American law, only affirms my initial opinion of the unmanly “men’s” movement.
Had you simply threw up a link to your awful sites and said I was an asshole I might respect you more. But showing up here to beg me to critique a piece you wrote? Really? Let me guess you have a distant father?
Let’s focus on the plot by terrorist connected Muslim groups to sneak bombs on planes here. But I’ll nutshell your essay for you because I’m nothing it not magnanimous. It was childish vapidity masquerading as misogyny disguised as grievance mongering. In a way not so far from Islamism at all.

However I’ll tell you up front that I don’t swing that way and if I did I have enough Conservative gay readers to suppose I could do better so unless you have some compelling story to share (that doesn’t include theorizing about the “war’ with feminists) I’m unsure of what exactly we have to talk about.

I’m not sure why I’d use a contact form to contact someone who is clearly unwilling to engage in communication geared towards understanding; and trust me, as a United States Marine, I understand the “plot by terrorist connected Muslim groups to sneak bombs on planes.” It’s kind of important to my job and my livelihood.

Why is this something that doesn’t surprise me at all?
Of course they’re against scanners! I say simple. No scan=no fly. That would greatly reduce chances of future bombers being succesful. Unfortunately the reality in America’s politically correct thinking will be everyone else will be scanned except those most likely to be a bomber.
Really, why does that b.s. not suprise anyone? Any one who wears enough rags as to hide explosives or weapons should be considered a threat and should be treated as such.
