I’m still going to look into weather or not NASA says the Earth is cooling, rather than, heating up, like you told me. Sorry, I still haven’t gotten around to that. In the mean time, lets keep in mind that greenhouse gases are not the only thing that effects the Earth’s climate.

Its going to take extraordinary evidence to convince me that all the claims of man made global warming is nothing but a hoax, because at this point I would regard it as an extraordinary claim.

I’ve seen many programs on television and read at least a few books on television that claim man is having an effect on climate a provide the evidence to back it. I have a book called Corrupted Science: Fraud, Ideology and Politics in Science,” By John Grant, that talks about how CO2 being pumped into the atmosphere is warming up the planet. I’ve seen several episodes of the History Channels, “The Universe” that talk about green house gases and the fact that Venus is actually hotter than Mercury, despite being farther from the sun, due to its thick carbon dioxide atmosphere. When I still had my doubts, I saw an episode of Naked Science on the National Geographic Channel that I thought might be skeptical of man induced climate change, but instead provide compelling evidence that our actions are warming the planet. In addition I just saw a show on National Geographic Channel Called “Mars: The New Earth?” and it, among other things, talked about the possibility of us using greenhouse gases to terraform Mars.

Also Famous Skeptic Michael Shermer, now regards the evidence for man made climate change to be too great to ignore.

Also a libertarian. Also if anthropogenic climate change is nothing but a myth, you have explain why almost everyone in the skeptical community accepts global warming.

Note: that I’m well aware that some scientists don’t accept anthropogenic climate change, but they have yet to convince me.
