A lot of people don’t like learning that they made a bad judgment. Some like to lash out rather than be humbled. His reaction is no different than hundreds of friends and family members of people caught doing something horrible have.

As someone who has known Stan for quite sometime and consider him to be a good friend, I don;t know why he would defend Jerry (who I also know) without knowing all the facts, other than he is just letting his ego get in the way of him being an otherwise very intelligent and wise person. As far as the hacking goes, I wouldn’t worry too much about that…Stan couldn’t rip his way out of a wet technical paper bag let alone hack your accounts.

Just an update, Jerry Douglas Ray was arrested on child pornography charges. He had videos of very young children being raped. He then subsequently committed suicide while he was on bail so that he didn’t have to deal with the legal consequences.

THANK YOU for cluing folks in on this! My only regret (other than having that *I need to vomit* feeling in my stomach) is there is no picture to post around for people to look out for.

As I stated on my own blog, we need to police our own people, even if it goes against the “Tolerance, Love and Understanding” credo most Pagans share. Just like anything else, when it comes to our kids, we need to be smart, ask questions, pay attention and teach our kids to do the same. We cannot let these animals hide in the shadows!
