I have been reading your articles and i agree with most of your opinions, but that comment was a bit counterproductive don’t you think? two lets don’t make a right, it merely turns you around.

Obviously marijuana, like most things, is sometimes used by….how should I say this….oh …fat lazy baby killing men unfit to breath fresh air.
Just like it is used by murders, rapists, thugs, cons and lazy teenagers along with responsible everyday people that I have the privilige to live and die with in this world. I find it interesting that the author of this otherwise excellent website writes about marijuana this way. His opinion on, say, attempted gun control in America is, like MOST material on this website, is simialr to my own. The way you write about marijuana in the victomless crime files I could write about most other objects the same way. There is no shortage of stupid people in our world who have used cigaretts, alcohol, automobiles, boats, prescribtion drugs, over-the-counter drugs, exc. in silimar ways. With your intellegence you should know better. You are blaming a plant, a drug, a chemical, a SUBSTANCE for someones behavior.
I agree with 420 hydro. Blame the person not the plant. To say marijuana caused this is like saying pencils cause misspelled words.

The best you could reasonably argue is that something like this could still happen if the guy never used drugs in the first place. The trouble is that it would be much less likely to happen if the guy never used drugs. In other words, in a drug free world, (by drug free, I mean free of illegal drugs, not drugs that are used only for medical purposes like penicillin) this could still happen, but most likely it would be much rarer. The only way you could prove your point is by showing us some hard statistical data that showed people who didn’t smoke pot, where just as likely to end up doing things like this. Can you show us such data?
