For the most part the paranoid drug using dregs that make up the various truth movements tend to have little to no understanding of the natural world and like primitives make up wild theories to explain natural phenomenon:

SANTA CRUZ – The owner of a Riverside Avenue home raided in connection with last weekend’s animal-rights firebombings targeting UC Santa Cruz scientists said Friday he suspects two college students who resided there may have some involvement in the case.
Frank Male, who has owned the yellow, three-bedroom Victorian for 11 years, said he rented the house in January 2007 to four students, but only two of them, a young man and his girlfriend, have been living there during the past couple weeks. The other two, both female UCSC students, left after the summer break started.
Male said he has no direct evidence that the man and woman – who told him they attended UCSC and Cabrillo College – are involved in animal-rights activities or were the target of a search warrant executed by the FBI and Santa Cruz police Thursday.
The Sentinel is not identifying the students because they have not been named as suspects. Attempts to reach them have been unsuccessful.
Police reported early in the week that the residents of the house at 724 Riverside Avenue – which was also raided in February after an attempted home invasion at a scientist’s residence – were not the focus of the probe but remained “persons of interest.”
That “home invasion” was a violent attack on a child’s birthday party by six masked thugs which ended with the woman’s husband being assaulted as he bravely chased the scum off his property. This new attack, which was really an attempted murder, is obviously thought by authorities to have been perpetrated by the same people they served a warrant on before.
So understand the situation here. There are a bunch of moonbats who attacked a scientist’s family and they lucked out by not getting arrested after the cops raided their house. They then plan more heinous crimes to celebrate their good fortune, like burning a family alive, before taking off. Sounds like someone dropped the ball on this one because these people are extremely dangerous and should have been in jail after the first attack.
And they have support from the local radicals who came out in force in an attempt to intimidate law enforcement:
About a dozen masked college-age people gathered as plainclothes officers wearing latex gloves took boxes and bags of evidence out of the house and put them into two Suburbans. Some of the onlookers took photos or videos while officers worked.
The message clearly being we’re going to find out who you are and target you next. Why they weren’t detained and questioned I’ll never understand, but if you think they won’t attempt to burn somebody alive in solidarity you just don’t know your hippies.

As I’ve said before, the success of Islamic terrorists in making the West bow to them and their demands has emboldened radicals of all stripes and now we see them using tactics more at home on the Gaza Strip than in an affluent California neighborhood.

Santa Cruz police are looking for the people responsible for two firebomb attacks that targeted UC Santa Cruz researchers, NBC11 reported.
Investigators called the attacks acts of domestic terrorism and said they believe an animal rights group is responsible.
Emergency crews raced to a quiet Santa Cruz neighborhood Saturday morning after getting a report of a house fire.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that the residence had been intentionally firebombed, police said. The home belonged to the family of a University of California, Santa Cruz, researcher, and the family was home at the time.
The address of the residence was listed in animal rights pamphlets found on Tuesday.
The victims, including two young children, escaped down a fire ladder from a second story window. Family members suffered injuries during the escape, police said.
“This is nothing less than a case of attempted homicide,” Santa Cruz Chief of Police Howard Skerry said. “It’s unconscionable that any reasonable person would consider this an acceptable tactic to get their point across. We are working hard with the other agencies and committing all available resources to follow all possible leads. We urge anyone with information to come forward.”
Two young children were almost killed, suffered injuries and we’re still to believe that the humanity hating eco-cult that the environmental movement has devolved into is just a harmless group of hippies? That they’re well meaning defenders of the earth?
These people are monsters, they wanted to kill an entire family by burning them to death. They waited for them to be home then set the house on fire. This is the kind of madness that is infecting our children on “liberal” college campuses.

Were I on R.J. Eskow’s radar I’m sure I would have made his list of people who really killed the Unitarians which was compiled mostly of people he either disagreed with or disliked.
It’s a dishonest and wicked ploy to score cheap political points on the backs of murdered people. Wicked because it uses the deaths of his supposed fellow travelers to attack people who have little to do with the situation, dishonest because it ignores the radical atheism of Jim Adkisson, the murderer in question:
Karen Massey, who lived two houses from Adkisson’s home, told the Knoxville News Sentinel of a lengthy conversation she had with Adkisson a couple years ago after she told him her daughter had just graduated from Johnson Bible College. She said she ended up having to explain to him that she was a Christian.
“He almost turned angry,” she told the newspaper. “He seemed to get angry at that. He said that everything in the Bible contradicts itself if you read it.”Massey said Adkisson talked frequently about his parents, who “made him go to church all his life … He acted like he was forced to do that.”
In those few paragraphs Adkisson sounds more like the gals from Pandagon then the random list of people whose main crime is in some way gaining the animosity R.J. Eskow:
Who really killed those Unitarians? Was it the preachers who spread hatred and intolerance? The politicians who court and flatter them instead of condemning their hate speech? The media machine that attacks liberals, calls them “traitors” and suggests you speak to them “with a baseball bat”? The economic system that batters people like Jim Adkisson until they snap, then tells them their real enemies are gays and liberals and secular humanists?
If you ask me, it was all of the above.
You killed them, Pat Robertson. You killed them, Pastor Hagee. You killed them, Ann Coulter. You killed them, Dick Morris and Sean Hannity and the rest of you at Fox News.
Conspicuously absent from Eskow’s list is Richard Dawkins or the cottage industry of anti-religiosity that teaches people to hate the religious. But those people are of the left, jut as the Unitarian Universalists so they cannot possibly be responsible.
It is here that, were this crime not so horrible, I’d be half tempted to compile a list of people liberal Christians killed. It would be here that I’d put forward that Liberalism is the effeminate, secularized bastardization of true religion and Liberal Christianity is little more than a half-hearted attempt to convince the world that Liberals care as much about the spiritual world as they do about how much money I happen to have in my pocket or if my donut has trans-fats.
Perhaps it would be inappropriate at a time like this to say that liberal Christianity is a disease eating away Western Civilization. The pompous desire “fix” criminals rather than punish them is simply the liberal version of turn the other cheek. The moral weakness liberal Christianity puts forward as so desirable is a rank perversion of the Christian doctrine of humility.
It is this nonsense and much more that leads to death after death, outrage after outrage. Eskow claims there is a long list of people who were responsible for the tragedy beside the shooter, but what about the long list of victims claimed by the ethical bankruptcy spread by liberal Christians and their “anything goes’ morality.
R.J. Eskow and his ilk are responsible for the Tate-Lablaca murders, the Lunsford murder, and countless atrocities by giving license to degenerates to run wild in our streets. Liberal Christianity preaches weakness and effeminacy which encourages Islamic Imperialism, and has led to the deaths of millions as Muslim fundamentalists spread their bleak vision of hell on earth unchallenged.
Perhaps it’d be inappropriate to recommend people like R.J. Eskow read Alan de Benoist’s On being Pagan and see how his own liberal Christian views end up being a metaphorical “Kick me” sign on his back. But I think were I to say all that it wouldn’t approach the level of bad taste and childishness of Eskow’s attempt to shift the blame for Adkisson’s murder spree from the shoulders of a man who hated not only gays and liberals but also Christians in generals to those same Christians who could have just as easily been the victims.
And of course the rest of us right wingers who Eskow secretly wishes were the real victims.
