Capitalism Works!

From The Washington Post:

Imagine a line composed of every household with children in the United States, arranged from lowest to highest income. Now, divide the line into five equal parts. Which of the groups do you think enjoyed big increases in income since 1991? If you read the papers, you probably would assume that the bottom fifth did the worst. After all, income inequality in America is increasing, right?

Wrong. According to a Congressional Budget Office (CBO) study released this month, the bottom fifth of families with children, whose average income in 2005 was $16,800, enjoyed a larger percentage increase in income from 1991 to 2005 than all other groups except the top fifth. Despite the recession of 2001, the bottom fifth had a 35 percent increase in income (adjusted for inflation), compared with around 20 percent for the second, third and fourth fifths. (The top fifth had about a 50 percent increase.)

Even more impressive, the CBO found that households in the bottom fifth increased their incomes so much because they worked longer and earned more money in 2005 than in 1991 — not because they received higher welfare payments. In fact, their earnings increased more in percentage terms than incomes of any of the other groups: The bottom fifth increased its earnings by 80 percent, compared with around 50 percent for the highest-income group and around 20 percent for each of the other three groups.

A booming economy is good for everybody, not just the rich. How are Democrats running on a neo-class warfare platform going to spin this? Like this no doubt.

A Message from Al-Qaeda (Ron Paul, They’re Looking at You)

So, this isn’t about Iraq? Has anyone told Ron Paul?

The worst part of this is that I frankly doubt if there are any Al-Qaeda demands, whether it’s allowing Arab racists free reign to kill Black Africans or cutting of aid to every country that has a Muslim population, that Ron Paul and his merry band of ostriches wouldn’t gladly comply with.

More on Latino Hate Crimes against Blacks

Reports are from local news media, so the narrative favors Latinos, portraying them as victims of Black racism struggling to defend themselves and their interests in a resource scarce environment. Classic undergrad class warfare theology, but there is a good amount of information about the chaos in California:

Despite what the reporters try to claim, Latino animosity toward Black Americans isn’t limited to gangs. Here’s a clip of Black Minutemen supporters at a rally, in the background you’ll hear Latino protesters telling them to “leave their continent” and calling them “White racists” which is their way of calling them Uncle Toms. This is usually the strategy of racist “liberal” Whites who are offended when Black Americans dare think for themselves, but the Latino activists throw it out quicker and with much more malice:

Viva La Raza I guess.

Catholic Priest Calls for Gun Store Owner’s murder!

Advocating violence has worked for Muslims in America, so why shouldn’t other religions get in on the action? Finally we see the end result of liberal attitudes toward “passionate” Muslim activists’ hostile behavior. From Illinois State Rifle Association Press release:

Nobody expected Saturday’s Operation PUSH protest at Chuck’s Gun Shop & Range to be anything other than a circus of the bizarre. However, nobody anticipated that an address by a Chicago priest would include a call for the murder of a suburban gun shop owner and legislators who oppose gun control.

During an address at an anti-gun rally in front of Chuck’s, Rev. Michael Pfleger, pastor of St. Sabina’s Church, exhorted the crowd to “drag” shop owner, John Riggio, from his shop “like a rat” and “snuff” him. Rev. Pfleger went on to tell the crowd that legislators that vote against gun control legislation should be “snuffed” as well. As many know, “snuff” is slang for especially violent murder.

The ISRA has a recording of Pfleger’s remarks in MP3 format.

“Certainly Fr. Pfleger has offered Absolution to a murderer or two during his tenure as a priest,” commented ISRA Executive Director, Richard Pearson. “That’s why it’s shocking to hear him actually advocate the murder of a gun shop owner who has never committed a crime in his life. He then compounds the problem by calling for the murder of legislators who disagree with his personal political views — something I suspect is a felony in this state. Pfleger’s comments were disgusting and dangerous. And, I seem to remember that the Fifth Commandment frowns on murdering one’s neighbor.”

“This week, I’ll be penning a letter to the Archbishop, expressing my concerns over Rev. Pfleger’s comments,” continued Pearson. “I would hope that the Archbishop would reply with words of comfort for Mr. Riggio, his family, state legislators, and all others who were injured by Rev. Pfleger’s thoughtless, inflammatory remarks.”

The controversial remarks were made at a Rainbow/Push Coalition rally organized by thieving extortionist Jessie Jackson. Calls for violence are not uncommon when Jackson is involved, so the shock here is not that the call for murder itself but who was doing the calling. I wonder if liberals will call me a racist for wanting to hold this Priest accountable for his terrorist activities?
