Peace Activists Threaten Man at Rally

I saw this on Atlas Shrugs and really wasn’t shocked. Peaceniks here threaten to beat up some guy filming their rally while the queen of peace Cindy Shehan, who took the day off from stealing money to send to Cuba, prattled on about the communist revolution she’d like to see in this country. Watch it and try not to laugh:

How come squirrelly guys in glasses never threaten me?

Muslim Hate Attack Against Sikh Student in NYC!

Two Muslim boys of Pakistani origin attacked a 15 year old Sikh student in a school bathroom and cut his hair. Sikh religious beliefs make it taboo for men to cut their hair. From the NY Post:

The attack happened Thursday around 12 p.m. in a boy’s bathroom near the Elmhurst school’s cafeteria.

Ahmed allegedly went at Harpal with the scissors after a heated exchange.

“I have to cut your hair,” Ahmed said before the snipping, according to prosecutors.

“For what, it is against my religion,” Harpal said.

“This ring is Allah. If you don’t let me cut your hair, I will punch you with this ring,” Ahmed said. The victim’s hair, which had reached past his waistline, is now shoulder length.

Cops initially picked up another student suspected of acting as a lookout, but he was never charged.

“The defendant is not accused of some schoolhouse prank but an attack on the fundamental beliefs of his victim’s religion and his freedom to worship freely,” said Queens DA Richard Brown.

Hate crimes by radical Muslims are nothing new obviously, though the seriousness with which the Queens District Attorney is treating this horrendous incident is commendable. One wonders if the response would be the same if the victim was a Christian whose Cross was trampled, but now isn’t the time for such speculation. New Yorkers should rally behind the Sikh community and show the world that America stands for freedom, and will defend all our citizens equally.

Fox News has more. Free Republic has a Times of India repost on the incident and of course LGF is on the case. A Local ABC affiliate has video including the Muslim boy’s sister crashing a press conference to denounce the Sikhs.

Jihad Watch is also on it, go for the story, stay for the comments.

How the Jihad came to Tripoli

From The Australian:

PALESTINIANS who fled their refugee camp as Islamists battled the Lebanese army have described how foreign Arabs infiltrated their communities, at first claiming to be aligned to a recognised group.

From a squalid schoolyard inside a nearby camp, in which thousands of refugees are seeking shelter, three men told The Weekend Australian of a trojan horse operation they said was launched last November by Fatah al-Islam militants.

“They were Arabs from outside,” said Abu Ahmad, whose home in the Nahr al-Barad refugee camp was levelled on Monday by Lebanese army artillery shells.

“There were some Lebanese among them, but mostly they were Iraqis, Syrians, Moroccans, Algerians and even Turks.

“Of the 300 men they claimed to have, only about five were Palestinian. When they arrived last November, they said they were from Fatah al-Intifada” — the Syrian-aligned pro-Palestinian group that was instrumental in forcing former PLO leader Yassir Arafat to leave Lebanon in 1983.

“But one day earlier this year, they handed out leaflets and raised a flag above the mosque,” said a second man, who identified himself as Khalil.

“From that day they said they were Fatah al-Islam, and they threw the people out of the Fatah al-Intifada offices.”

The jihadi views of the interlopers quickly became obvious to many of Nahr al-Barad camp’s 31,000 residents. Their puritanical interpretation of the Koran and loathing of the Lebanese Government overshadowed their initial claims to be aligned to Palestinian refugee causes.

“At first there were only about 25 of them,” said Abu Ahmad. “They came in a trickle and kept to themselves. They were very polite and very respectful of the women and caring of children.

“But they would only ever smile to the men and say, ‘Peace be upon you’.”

By March this year, the strangers, often wearing Islamic gowns and Taliban-style headgear, could be seen walking freely around the camp carrying Kalashnikov assault rifles.

“By then, we knew their main cause was not Palestinian,” said a third man, Abu Mohammed. “But they were good to the families and they kept to themselves within three communities inside the camp. There was nothing we could do.”

Couldn’t this scenario happen in America? Or Europe? Hasn’t it already? The war is coming to our shores eventually, and when it does it will look a lot like what’s going on in Lebanon.

MPAC Spokeswoman Exposed as Terror Supporter

MPAC spokeswoman Edina Lekovic once was the editor of an indy mag that defended the actions of Osama Bin Laden! The shocking revelation came as she and counter terrorism expert Steve Emerson were appearing together on a cable news show:

Lekovic denies the charges but LGF provides us with the evidence that the charges are true. Are these the people that should be testifying to the Homeland Security Subcommittee about how to best deal with radical Islam in America?

Open Minded Liberalism in Action

After her blowout with Elisabeth Hasselbeck on the View, it was rumored (but denied) that Rosie trashed her dressing room in a petulant rage, and pictures of Hasselbeck in the ABC studios were “mysteriously” defaced. From NY Post:

May 25, 2007 — ROSIE O’Donnell left “The View” with a bang, not a whimper, following her on-air smackdown with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Wednesday.

Yesterday, Rosie’s chief writer, Janette Barber, was allegedly escorted from the building after she was caught drawing moustaches on photographs of Hasselbeck that hang in the “View” studios.

The Post’s Adam Buckman reports ABC confirmed in a statement only that “photographs at ‘The View’s’ offices were defaced. Rosie O’Donnell was not in the building. ABC Legal and Human Resources are investigating the matter.” Barber is an old friend of O’Donnell who worked with her years ago on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show.”

There were also rumors O’Donnell was so angry after her argument with Hasselbeck that she trashed her dressing room, although ABC denied the tantrum.

Meanwhile, “The View” went on yesterday without O’Donnell, who was taking a previously planned day off to celebrate partner Kelli Carpenter’s 40th birthday.

Hasselbeck – who had tangled with O’Donnell before about President Bush’s handling of the Iraq war – was on the show with Joy Behar, Barbara Walters and guest host Kathy Griffin. The four discussed the blowup only briefly before switching topics.

As for O’Donnell, she’s been posting comments on her personal Web site, Rosie.com, fueling speculation she might not return to “The View” ever again. Her scheduled last day is Wednesday, June 20.

When one fan wrote, “Work isn’t worth that battle,” Rosie replied, “Agreed.” Another wrote, “Please walk away. It’s not worth it.” Rosie replied, “Well, you know when it’s time to go.”

To a fan who asked when she would return, O’Donnell answered, “No idea.”

Yesterday, O’Donnell posted a video that may have symbolized how she’s feeling about “The View.”

The tape consisted of ducks swimming in a pond accompanied by an audio track of the John Mayer song “Vultures,” whose lyrics include “How will I hold my head to keep from going under?”

Officially, “The View” expects O’Donnell to return to work on Tuesday.

Here in NYC we’re all about Page Six! So after being challenged on her childish political beliefs, Rosie acts like a spoiled child. The worst part of the story is that it confirms what many of us suspected all along, that Rosie is surrounded by people more immature than she is, which makes her behavior seem reasonable in comparison. I mean, how old do you think Janette Barber is?

I’m not sure but I know it’s too old to deface photos of people her friend is mad at. One wonders if they came up with this plan while skipping rope on the playground.

Rosie, meanwhile has been putting her pain on display via her blog. Creepy is the word you’re looking for. Check out this vid she made (look for the picture of EH with the crotch cut out, what the hell is that about?) Of course, she’s also burning her bridges in true downward spiral fashion. Here’s some advice for you Ro, leaving a show prior to your scheduled departure because you got into an argument with your “friend” won’t endear you to studio execs.

Here’s a real exit question: Is Rosie really a 15 year old girl in a 45 year old woman suit?
