And there is evidence that the Mexican forces may be trying to frame the Border patrol agents involved in the shooting of a 15-year-old Mexican boy who was assaulting the agents. Let’s set the scene:
CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) — Pointing their rifles, Mexican security forces chased away U.S. authorities investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old Mexican by a U.S. Border Patrol agent on the banks of the Rio Grande, the FBI and witnesses told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
The killing of the Mexican by U.S. authorities — the second in less than two weeks — has exposed the distrust between the two countries that lies just below the surface, and has enraged Mexicans who see the death of the boy on Mexican soil as an act of murder.
Shortly after the boy was shot, Mexican soldiers arrived at the scene and pointed their guns at the Border Patrol agents across the riverbank while bystanders screamed insults and hurled rocks and firecrackers, FBI spokeswoman Andrea Simmons said. She said the agents were forced to withdraw.
“It pretty quickly got very intense over on the Mexican side,” she said, adding that FBI agents showed up later and resumed the investigation, even as Mexican authorities pointed guns at them from across the river.
A relative of the dead boy who had been playing with him told the AP that the Mexicans — who he described as federal police, not soldiers — pointed their guns only when the Americans waded into the mud in an apparent attempt to cross into Mexico.
The Mexican authorities accused the Americans of trying to recover evidence from Mexican soil and threatened to kill them if they crossed the border, prompting both sides to draw their guns, said the 16-year-old boy who asked not to be further identified for fear of reprisal.
Also because he’s lying:
A U.S. official close to the investigation told the AP that authorities have a video showing that the Border Patrol agent did not cross into Mexico. In fact, the official said, the video shows what appear to be members of Mexican law enforcement crossing onto the U.S. side, picking something up and returning to Mexico. The official was not cleared to speak about the video and spoke only on condition of anonymity.
That something being the .40 caliber shell casing found near the kids body, obviously. If the video shows what I suspect this is close to an act of war. Mexican military or Federal Police showed up to a scene where Mexican citizens either were in the midst of or had just finished assaulting American agents on their side of the border. They threaten the agents with guns, cross illegally into our territory and take evidence in an attempt to frame our people.
Ignore leftist attempts to paint this as a shooting of an innocent kid minding his business, the victim was on the most wanted list of juvenile smugglers according to the Border Patrol Union and he initiated the violence when he and several accomplices surrounded the officers and began stoning them.
The border is out of control. If you live there and have the means flee. If not, arm yourselves. You’ll be under siege in the next few years and Mexican authorities will be backing illegal criminals to the hilt.
Could that Mexican teen count as an unofficial child soldier for the smugglers?
Of course. But only if we lived in a rational world.
They make it sound like they were a couple of nine-year-olds building sandcastles on the bank of the river, not a couple of (drug?) smuggling thugs illegally crossing the boarder.
Also, call me stupid or cynical for pointing this out, but why would the Mexican government have a problem with their citizens smuggling illegal drugs out of their country and bringing money back into their country? In fact, why wouldn’t they do what they can to assist such “business” transactions?
Many people on the border have reported Mexican cops and military assisting illegal activity. We have no control there and we’re allowing Mexico to destabilize us. This is a flash point for a future war.
Build a 60′ wall, with gun bunkers around to keep those useless welfare bums OUT of the USA. We dont need their drugs, gangs, and thievery. They will WRECK this nation that took 200 years to build!!!
They’re already tunneling under in most places, and we don’t have the money to complete the fence. Americans must demand a real defeat of the Cartels or we will lose the southwest.
