James Cameron Bugs Out to New Zealand

A lot of fringier characters than me are saying this means that the “elites” know that “TEOTWAWKI” is just around the corner. I don’t know about that but Cameron is a noted liberal whose movie Avatar was an anti-military, anti-Capitalist screed so one would think he’d be willing to stick out the Obama years and “share the wealth” so to speak. Or maybe return to his native Canada.

Truth is a lot of investors (like Jim Rogers and Marc Faber) have been talking about farmland is the best investment in the future. Couple that with the increasing violence from Occupy Wall Street and only a fool would keep living in his mansion in city like Los Angles which is dependent on disappearing agriculture and populated with “gimmes” who are already turning the places into war zones and calling for more violence. Cameron doesn’t “know” anything – he’s just a hypocrite who doesn’t want to live in the America he helped create.

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — Hollywood director James Cameron is planning to move onto a New Zealand farm.

Cameron has successfully applied to buy 1,067 hectares (2,636 acres) of farmland in New Zealand. In an application filed with the New Zealand Overseas Investment Office, Cameron says he and his family “intend to reside indefinitely in New Zealand and are acquiring the property to reside on and operate as a working farm.”

Cameron, a Canadian, directed two of Hollywood’s most successful films, “Titanic” and “Avatar.” He could not be immediately contacted by The Associated Press Thursday, but it’s believed he will move to New Zealand this year to film the sequel to “Avatar.”

The rural properties are about a 90-minute drive from Wellington, home to Weta Digital, which won an Oscar for its visual effects work on the first “Avatar” movie.

Keep this story in mind when someone tells you you’re an idiot for stocking up food. Rich liberals can buy their own farms and try to be self-reliant and everyone applauds, the common man who does is a nut.

29 Dead in Mexican Swine Flu Outbreak

I hope you have plenty of surgical masks. We’re overdue for a pandemic and the various swine and bird flu strains are really coming on strong these days. From Wire Update:

MEXICO CITY (BNO NEWS) — An ongoing swine flu outbreak in Mexico has left at least 29 people dead and nearly 1,500 others infected, health officials confirmed on Saturday. Thousands more are also ill as the country faces several types of flu this season.

Since the start of the ongoing winter season, at least 7,069 people have reported suffering from symptoms similar to those of swine flu. Lab tests are still underway and have so far confirmed 1,456 cases of the disease, which is officially known as A/H1N1.

According to Mexico’s Health Ministry (SSA), at least twenty-nine people have died of swine flu so far this season. While no health emergency has been declared, officials expect the death toll will rise in the coming weeks as Mexico also faces A/H3N2 and B influenza.

The H1N1 influenza virus emerged in the Mexican state of Veracruz in April 2009 and quickly spread around the world, causing the World Health Organization (WHO) to declare a global flu pandemic in June 2009. At least 18,000 people have died of the disease since, although the actual number is believed to be far higher.

Surprise! U.N. “Peacekeeper” Barbarians Spread Superbug into the Americas

Before Red Alerts was closed down temporarily I blogged about the U.N. Peacekeepers from Nepal who spread cholera in Haiti by shitting in the Haitians drinking water. This by the way was not done maliciously, the peacekeepers the U.N. sent to earthquake ravaged Haiti were just barbarians who didn’t know any better.

Now a new report is claiming that this isn’t just any normal cholera  – it’s a superbug that is more virulent, more easily transmittable and has infected half a million Haitians. Infected Haitians have been turning up all over the Americas including New York, Miami and Boston:

Compelling new scientific evidence suggests United Nations peacekeepers have carried a virulent strain of cholera — a super bug — into the Western Hemisphere for the first time.

The vicious form of cholera has already killed 7,000 people in Haiti, where it surfaced in a remote village in October 2010. Leading researchers from Harvard Medical School and elsewhere told ABC News that, despite UN denials, there is now a mountain of evidence suggesting the strain originated in Nepal, and was carried to Haiti by Nepalese soldiers who came to Haiti to serve as UN peacekeepers after the earthquake that ravaged the country on Jan. 12, 2010 — two years ago today. Haiti had never seen a case of cholera until the arrival of the peacekeepers, who allegedly failed to maintain sanitary conditions at their base.

“What scares me is that the strain from South Asia has been recognized as more virulent, more capable of causing severe disease, and more transmissible,” said John Mekalanos, who chairs the Department of Microbiology and Immunobiology at Harvard Medical School. “These strains are nasty. So far there has been no secondary outbreak. But Haiti now represents a foothold for a particularly dangerous variety of this deadly disease.”

More than 500,000 Haitians have been infected, and Mekalanos said a handful of victims who contracted cholera in Haiti have now turned up in Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, and in Boston, Miami and New York, but only in isolated cases.

The United Nations is of course denying any role in the spread of this deadly outbreak even as the evidence piles up. When disaster strikes you can always count on the United Nations to make things worse.

Anarchy in the U.K. – Coming to America April 4th

Left wing groups held a “protest” in London in which five police officers were hurt, one seriously. The “peaceful” demonstrates destroyed ATMs, attacked a hotel and were reported to have been throwing light bulbs filled with ammonia at people. It can be seen in many of the following videos that the English people – who the government disallows use of arms to and have no right of self-defense – are at the mercy of these crowds of thugs and communists. But British laws are frankly not that different than the laws in NYC or Chicago so the massive rallies Unions and their radical communist allies are planning for April 4th should be avoided at all costs by people in liberal run cities. Business owners should board up their windows and workers should call in sick.

Here’s a list of cities the April 4th rallies will be held. I see the Bronx and Newark are on the list. Stay out of there. Asheville, NC has one planned and I’ve been told that anarchist plan to raise hell there. The cities on the list I’m familiar with all share something in common – British style gun and self-defense laws. That’s not a coincidence.
