Hamas death squads murdered dozens of Fatah prisoners in what is the most unsurprising war crime in history. For years apologist for Hamas, Fatah and the Palestinian cause in general ignored the cruelty and evil that infected these movements. It should shock no one that when given the opportunity to create a Palestinian model state, the Islamist forces instead create a river of blood. From the NY Post:
June 15, 2007 — Bloodthirsty Hamas terrorists celebrated their conquest of the Gaza Strip by executing Palestinian rivals, drawing up a death list and declaring a new era of “Islamic rule.”
Several men loyal to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas were shot point-blank in the streets, in front of their wives and children, after their hideout in the Palestinian security headquarters in Gaza City was stormed, witnesses said.
Neighborhood residents pleaded for an end to the bloodshed.
“The world is watching us dying and doing nothing to help,” said one of them, Moean Hammad, 34.
“God help us, we feel like we are in a real-life horror movie.”
The security headquarters was one of four Fatah faction command centers that had remained under siege but finally fell to jubilant Hamas thugs yesterday.
Dozens of gunmen in black uniform stormed the heavily fortified building after a siege that killed at least 14 people and wounded 80 others.
They hoisted green Hamas flags on the rooftop of the building and fired off celebratory gunshots in the air.
Outside the building, members of the terrorist group handed out chocolate candy to locals, while others kneeled, touching their foreheads to the ground in prayer.
Still others dragged captured members of the rival Fatah faction out of the building.
The Fatah men, many shirtless or in their underwear, held their arms in the air and flinched as more gunfire was heard.
Seven of the Fatah officials were shot to death, Fatah said. Witnesses confirmed the slayings.
“They are executing them one by one,” said one Gaza City resident, who gave his name as Amjad.
“They are carrying one of them on their shoulders, putting him on a sand dune, turning him around and shooting.”

Jihad Watch is reporting that Hamas has announced it’s intention to execute every last Fatah leader. Fox is reporting that Hamas plans to release them. We’ll see what happens but it sounds like chaos in Gaza.

Ditto to everything. I saw the Washington Post article first today, and can’t believe all the sheeple getting on board for blaming Bush. No, he should not have EVER agreed with leftists to push any kind of peace plan that involved Israel giving up land, but to say it is his fault is absurd. Good old taqiyya or whatever… it is the nature of the lying terrorists! Anyway, the terrorists are killing people and the leftists would never blame them- that just wouldn’t be the PC thing to do.
I wonder what the PC crowd will say when we see more and more attacks on US soil. I bet the “religion of peace” is responsible for the theft of LOTS of C4 and other explosives from the FBI. Of course it wouldn’t be PC to search all the terror training compounds and mosques, so we’ll just have to wait and see what the terrorists choose to blow up before the leftists start blaming Bush for that too!
