“Undocumented Worker” Kidnaps Relative’s Child Over Alleged Debt

Assimilation into American values is often called an imperialist idea, but often other countries, particularly countries that have endured several generations of poverty, have cultural norms that cannot be allowed to continue in America. Female genital mutilation comes to mind immediately, but considering that Mexico has become almost completely lawless we need to ensure immigrants from there leave their worse habits behind.

From the Chron:

AUSTIN — Police say a man who thought his cousin owed him money was behind the abduction of the relatives 5-year-old son.

Modesto Vences-Garcia, 26, was charged with aggravated kidnapping, a first-degree felony. He could face up to life in prison, if convicted.

Investigators allege Vences-Garcia recruited four people, including two teens, to carry out the abduction of Adrian Jaimes.

Vences-Garcia’s cousin, Salvadore Hernandez, is the child’s father.

The kidnappers opened the door of the family’s car Thursday as the children’s mother was about to take them to school, police said.

The boy was found safe Thursday night in a North Austin neighborhood. Police said they believe public attention about the abduction pressured the abductors to drop off the child unharmed in a populated area.

Adrian’s 10-year-old sister was the initial target, police said. But the girl had recently reported that someone in a suspicious car had followed her to school, the Austin American-Statesman reported in its online edition Monday.

“We know this was motivated by money,” Austin police Cmdr. Julie O’Brien said. “He wanted a lot of money.”

O’Brien said Vences-Garcia told some associates he wanted $150,000 from the family. Police said a family member got two anonymous cell phone calls demanding $300,000 for the child’s safe return.

Police said it wasn’t clear why Vences-Garcia thought he was owed money.

Vences-Garcia was initially arrested on outstanding drug possession and drunken driving warrants. He also is accused of immigration violations.

Authorities also have charged Esau Alejandro Rodriguez-Flores, 17, and Hector Luis Hernandez, 19, with aggravated kidnapping. Two unidentified juveniles also have been charged.

Hernandez was being held on $500,000 bond Monday night in the Travis County Jail. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney.

Modesto Vences-Garcia has a long rap sheet. Of course kidnapping your cousin’s child for ransom is shocking even by American criminal standards. This sort of anarchy and warped justice being imported here is a problem that we must deal with now, or we will be dealing with it for a long time to come.

HuffPo Hates Cops (and Blacks and America and Common Sense)

There’s little you need do to get the nutroots screaming out armchair revolutionary platitudes mixed in with a healthy dose of pretension and of course good old fashioned White liberal racism. In this case it was this awful story of Florida Sheriff deputies dumping a paralyzed man from his wheel chair. They apparently thought he was faking.

The video is shocking, but not as shocking as the response of the middle aged White hipsters who use the scandal as an excuse to voice their hatred for “pigs” and America. Look at this exchange, which I found amusing because these are the same people who would tell you that you don’t need a gun for self defense, yet the “pigs” are the enemy of all freedom loving people who can’t be trusted

I’d also put forward that the fact the cop involved was Black isn’t germane to the situation. HuffPo commenter unclejim disagrees:

huffpohatescops1.JPG

One can almost feel “unclejim” shouting out Aunt Jemima at the screen while typing this. Then of course the conversation turns to how evil cops, the government and Americans are. Oh, and we Americans live in a “shitstain” country:

huffpohatescops2.jpg

Then we hear form a person not from America, who sanctimoniously lectures the lefties on why people from his “rich” country don’t come here. The lefties fellate him and agree that living here sucks. Dare I suggest they move to DirkdenHartog’s “rich” country?

As a bonus this may be the first example of Godwin’s Law where the Hitler comment was not precipitated by a nasty argument, but by an intellectual circle jerk of middle age “revolutionaries.”

huffpohatescops3.jpg

I wonder what rich country DirkdenHartog is from. England? France? Sweden? Most likely his definition of “rich” is one that includes pulling a fat welfare check from a slowly collapsing state.

By the way, who is more dangerous to you, a cop or a drug addict? Coming from an inner city I have seen that the unpredictable drug addict, with his or her need for a constant supply of money coupled with an inability to hold a job were the most dangerous individuals to be around. You never knew when desperation would drive them to take a knife to you.

The HuffPo folks see things different:

huffpohatescops4.jpg

So those deciding to serve their community aren’t even human but drug addicts are deserving of our sympathy? Hmmm.

This incident was atrocious, but hardly indicative of how all law enforcement act. The response on HuffPo is indicative of the left and their hostility to those who stand between them and the petty criminality they feel they are entitled to partake in.

Democrats Pushing Bill to Question Our Patriotism

Read it and weep Obama supporters, Barack Obama isn’t a liberal at all but a Chavez style statist who has signed on to what is probably the worst government infringement on our freedom since McCain-Fiengold. Here’s what “economic populist” Sherod brown said about the Patriot Corporation Act:

Also, my conversations with both Barack and Hillary, and with Governor Sebelius calling for Barack, and with Bill Clinton calling for Hillary, and Dick Durbin – all the people who have called for them, in addition to talking directly with the candidates… [we] talk about trade, talk about a populist, progressive message in Ohio, talk about privatization and anti-privatization, and all the things they need to do around tax and trade policy.

Both of them are obviously significantly better than Bush Republicans, McCain. They’re close. I’ve talked to Barack a lot about his Patriot Corporation Act, which is not trade per se, but it’s certainly part of the economic package around globalization. The Patriot Corporation Act has not gotten the attention that I would hope it would. But, basically it says that if you play by the rules, if you pay decent wages, health benefits, pension; do your production here; don’t resist unionization on neutral card check, then you will be designated a “Patriot Corporation” and you will get tax advantages and some [preference] on government contracts. Jan Schakowsky first came to me… I co-sponsored and worked on it with her in 2005 or 2006. And Barack has been a sponsor of it in the Senate. Hillary is not on it as of now, but those are the kinds of things I want to see them talk about and do and I am hopeful – and pretty much expect – that they will talk about those issues in Ohio.

Clearly the government mandated patriotism here is meant to support Democratic base interests. My little blog business I run with the wife doesn’t provide health insurance and you can be damned sure they’re will be no unionizing here, are we not patriots? Carter Wood sums up the act best:

There is so much here that’s profoundly objectionable. On card check, it’s “patriotic” to support the elimination of the secret ballot in the workplace? It’s “patriotic” to pay an employee $14 an hour, but not $13.83? Play by the rules? What does that mean?

The most striking offense here is the idea that the federal government would be defining patriotism, company by company. And if the federal government defines a company as a patriot, than it will be defining — if only by omission — the companies that are not patriots.

A terrible, terrible idea.

Terrible unless you’re a Hugo Chavez style statist whose “populist” economic message is Marxism. That’s what this bill is the product of, the desire of the left to change America form a free country to a giant version of Cuba.

Bryan at Hot Air asks the important question in his post on this outrage:

What gives people like Obama and Brown the idea that they have the right to do this? Certainly not the Constitution.

I think that question was answered when Obama’s field office in Texas was exposed on a local news channel as nothing more than a nest of Che worshipping communists.

Babalu Blog reminds us that Obama (with Clinton as a running mate) was endorsed by Castro:

Let’s see. Castro endorses a Clinton/Obama ticket. Obama has Greg Craig, Castro’s attorney during the Elian episode, as a senior policy adviser. He was for lifting the embargo before he was against it. And now his campaign workers put up a picture of Che Guevara that’s 3 times as big as Obama’s own poster in his campaign office. And a self-respecting Cuban would vote for this guy, why?

Castro isn’t the only endorsement from anti-American terror supporters that Obama has pulled. The Ku Klux Klan rallied in Tennessee against Hilary saying that they would endorse Obama just to keep Hilary out. Oddly they never thought to endorse the White men in the race, because they’re Republicans. Just something for all you Democrats to mull over.

The Klan isn’t probably likes Obama because of his association with the Jew hating Commie’s foreign policy adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, a man who is a known anti-Semite and a hater of America.

But don’t dare question the Democrats patriotism. We’ll just let them question ours.

Russia Feeling Frisky! Does Putin Want War?

From Fox News:

WASHINGTON — U.S. fighter planes intercepted two Russian bombers flying unusually close to an American aircraft carrier in the western Pacific during the weekend, The Associated Press has learned.

A U.S. military official says that one Russian Tupolev 95 buzzed the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz twice, at a low altitude of about 2,000 feet, while another bomber circled about 50 nautical miles out. The official was speaking on condition of anonymity because the reports on the flights were classified as secret.

The Saturday incident, which never escalated beyond the flyover, comes amid heightened tensions between the United States and Russia over U.S. plans for a missile defense system based in Poland and the Czech Republic.

Such Russian bomber flights were common during the Cold War, but have been rare since.

The bombers were among four Russian Tupolev 95s launched from Ukrainka in the middle of the night, including one that Japanese officials say violated their country’s airspace over an uninhabited island south of Tokyo.

U.S. officials tracked and monitored the bombers as two flew south along the Japanese coast, and two others flew farther east, coming closer to the Nimitz and the guided missile cruiser USS Princeton.

As the bombers got about 500 miles out from the U.S. ships, four F/A-18 fighters were launched from the Nimitz, the official said. The fighters intercepted the Russian bombers about 50 miles south of the Nimitz.

At least two U.S. fighters trailed the bomber as it came in low over the Nimitz twice, while one or two of the other U.S. fighters followed the second bomber as it circled.

This clear provocation came after Russia threatened Ukraine with nuclear annihilation if they cooperated with the U.S. or joined NATO:

Russia has said it may target its missiles at Ukraine if its neighbor joins Nato and accepts the deployment of the US missile defense shield.

Russian President Vladimir Putin made the comments in Moscow alongside Ukraine’s President, Viktor Yushchenko.

Mr Putin has condemned US plans to include Poland and the Czech Republic in its missile defence shield.

The leaders had been meeting in urgent talks over a gas dispute and announced a deal to avoid disrupting supplies.

[…]

Speaking at a news conference at the Kremlin on Tuesday, Mr Putin said he had advised Ukraine not to join Nato, but admitted he would be unable to interfere in any such move.

“Restrictions on sovereignty… have already had certain consequences, such as the stationing of bases or a positioning area for missile defence in Eastern Europe, which we believe is aimed at neutralizing our nuclear missile potential,” he said.

“Russia therefore faces a need to take retaliatory action.”

The US wants the shield to destroy incoming ballistic missiles potentially coming from North Korea and Iran.

Current plans would see some interceptor missiles based in Poland and an associated radar built in the Czech Republic.

“It is frightening not only to say but even to think that Russia, in response to the emergence of such positioning areas on Ukrainian territory, which cannot be ruled out in theory, will target its offensive missile systems at Ukraine,” he said.

“Can you imagine that for a second? That is what we are concerned about.”

Yeah I can imagine that. As can the thousands of people who lived through the Cold War. We are seeing a resurgent Russia led by an old school Soviet unconstrained by American power, which is seen as non-existent thanks to an “anti-war” movement that has successfully projected an image of weakness and decadence to our enemies world wide.

Meanwhile we can’t even trust our own Pentagon officials to not pass information to our enemies.

Nazis, Kooks Rally to Cause of Drama Queen Elizabeth Ritter

Liz Ritter is a “lawyer” (of the jail house variety no doubt) who likes to frequent protests holding up signs meant to convey the message that the very presence of police during these protests is tantamount to totalitarianism. She also enjoys not following the directions of law enforcement officers attempting to ensure the safety of the crowds at such protests. This led her to the inevitable confrontation with police who used a very modest amount of force on her.

Like the spoiled armchair revolutionary she is, Ritter thought having a rubber paint ball pellet hit her and not cause any injury was the absolute worse thing that ever happened to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Add to that video taken later which show that the cops thought she was a kook who had it coming, and Ritter is now a media darling whose kid glove treatment “proves” we live in the worst regime in history. Her fan base, a collection of White Supremacists and conspiracy nuts, absolutely agree.

I don’t:

Watching the video you’ll see that Ritter gets rubber balled twice, and seems to not be effected at all. The first shot to her “legs” in fact just seems to annoy her. Hardly the abuse some make it out to be.

But effeminate neo Nazi Yankee James posts the video with his usual silent disapproval, disgusted by the brave woman being subjected to what 15 year olds subject each other to after a trip to the paintball section of Walmart on the weekends.

Alex Jones sees this as part of a larger conspiracy, as are all things that happen everywhere.

It’s funny though, I’ve been to a few protests and I never got anything more than a nod hello and a “Could you move over there , sir” from the cops . Hmmm.

It’s like you have to do something untoward to get shot with a paintball gun.

Well, at least Ritter has all kinds of new street cred with her fellow White revolutionaries. I guess we’ll see her at the next klan meeting.
