Ted Perez, Suicidal Sex Offender, Kidnapped 9-Month-Old Girl

Police need your help if you’re in Colorado to find this man-

He is Ted Perez and he is a suicidal sex offender who kidnapped a baby:

PUEBLO, Colo. — Police issued a media alert Friday morning for a man who may try to kill his infant daughter.

Ted Perez, 26, was last seen with the 9-month-old girl on Friday, May 29.

The Pueblo Police Department said he is a registered sex offender. In his last sighting, he reportedly made statements about killing the young girl. Perez is known to use narcotics and is suicidal, Pueblo police said.

Authorities said this is not an Amber Alert because Perez does not have a vehicle and is known to travel by foot or by bicycle.

Perez is Hispanic, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and a tattoo on the right side of his neck that says “Selena.”

He also has a tattoos on his left chest that says “Mom,” on his left forearm that says “Helen,” and on his right arm that says “Usenia.” The word “Perez” is tattooed in the center of his abdomen and on his right foot the word “Ted” is tattooed.

Iyana Perez is Hispanic, about 30 inches tall and weighs 20 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Talking Points Memo Floats Show Trials/Executions for Global Warming “Deniers”

For the record I solidly believe us to be entering a new ice age and there is more evidence to prove this than global warming. I don’t, however, advocate dragging global warming douches out of their smart cars and beating them until they admit global warming would be a good thing as it would create more farmable land and increase food stocks.

Some hippy on Talking Points Memo thinks just the opposite. Before TPM scrubbed the post Right Wing News copied down the missive for posterity. Read this and tell me you shouldn’t be hoarding ammunition:

What is so frustrating about these fools is that they are the politicians and greedy bastards who don’t want a cut in their profits who use bogus science or the lowest scientists in the gene pool who will distort data for a few bucks. The vast majority of the scientific minds in the World agree and understand it’s a very serious problem that can do an untold amount of damage to life on Earth.

So when the right wing f***tards have caused it to be too late to fix the problem, and we start seeing the devastating consequences and we start seeing end of the World type events – how will we punish those responsible. It will be too late. So shouldn’t we start punishing them now?

Wow. So I guess even now the author, The Insolent Braggart, is putting together a black bag team to come get me. The Washington Examiner has an interesting essay on this sort of political extremism.

Boy Dies of Bubonic Plague in New Mexico

That’s right, New Mexico. There’s Bubonic Plague deaths in New Mexico. Ready for that fenc… never mind.

Albuquerque, N.M. (AP) – New Mexico health officials say an 8-year-old boy has died after contracting bubonic plague and his 10-year-old sister, who also contracted the illness, is hospitalized and recovering.

The state Health Department announced the boy’s death Thursday, saying the siblings’ cases are the first human plague cases in the nation so far this year.

Health officials are conducting an environmental investigation at the family’s Santa Fe County residence to determine if there is any ongoing risk to people.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says an average of 10 to 15 persons contract the plague each year in the United States. Modern antibiotics are an effective treatment.

So don’t worry, we average ten to fifteen Bubonic Plague deaths a year.

But we’re not becoming a third world country.

Filthy Degenerate Arranges Wife’s Rape on Craigslist

I’m speechless by this. From Fox:

CHARLOTTE, N.C. â€”Â A man who police say arranged on Craigslist for his wife to be raped by another man was in jail on $200,000 bond Thursday and investigators were pursuing a “strong lead” as they searched for the attacker.

Police were sifting through computer and phone records with high-tech help from federal investigators after arresting the 25-year-old husband Wednesday, said Maj. Terry Clanton.

“I feel like we will eventually identify the perpetrator who came to the residence,” Clanton said.

Capt. Chuck Adams, one of the lead investigators, said police were pursuing a suspect but declined to disclose more details. “It’s a strong lead,” he said.

The husband faces first-degree rape and other charges. The Associated Press, which generally does not identify victims of sexual assault, is not naming the man to avoid identifying his wife.

Cabarrus County court records show the husband waived appointment of a public defender at a first hearing Wednesday and has another hearing scheduled June 30.

Police said they believed the husband found the attacker by responding to at least two personal ads on Craigslist, the online classified service that has come under attack for its “erotic services” section. Craigslist agreed to do away with that section last month after a Boston medical student, dubbed “the Craigslist killer,” was charged with killing a woman he met on the site.

Adams said the husband found the ad while searching through the “erotic services” ads for someone to have sex with his wife. Craigslist replaced that section with an “adult services” category that is screened under the changes the company announced last month.

Police said it wasn’t known if the husband paid the other man.

The wife called police Sunday and reported a man with a knife raped her in the bedroom of their home. Police said the husband was in the room at the time of the attack.

Authorities said the couple’s two young children were at home, but unaware of what was happening.

I guess you can get anything on Craigslist, which is the problem with the site Trench Reynolds has been blogging about for years now.

Do we have a moral responsibility to ensure a second Holocaust doesn’t happen? Liberals and Libertarians say we do not, but I wonder what they will say after the millions of Jews in Israel are dead? Some will cheer, but will the rest simply shrug their shoulders and carry on like they do while the genocide in Darfur (also perpetuated by Muslims) is ongoing?
