Muslims are Peaceful and Tolerant (Unless You’re an Christian, a Hindu, a Woman…)

The Sandra Hall murder, or more specifically the reaction to my posts about it, have put me in the mood to “open my mind” as one Muslim supporter of dragging women to death under cars would put it. So I cruised the net for a little mind opening (and eye opening) food for thought about the religion of peace. Here’s what I found:

A Christian school teacher in Nigeria was murdered by a mob of Muslims. They were released without charge.

A teenage Sikh girl is being guarded by police in the U.K. because extremist are trying to force her to convert to Islam.

Feds: C.A.I.R. an “Unindicted Co-Conspirator” in Terror Funding Plot!

Federal prosecutors have named three prominent Islamic organizations in America as participants in an alleged criminal conspiracy to support a Palestinian Arab terrorist group, Hamas.

Prosecutors applied the label of “unindicted co-conspirator” to the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the Islamic Society of North America, and the North American Islamic Trust in connection with a trial planned in Texas next month for five officials of a defunct charity, the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development.

While the foundation was charged in the case, which was filed in 2004, none of the other groups was. However, the co-conspirator designation could be a blow to the credibility of the national Islamic organizations, which often work hand-in-hand with government officials engaged in outreach to the Muslim community.

A court filing by the government last week listed the three prominent groups among about 300 individuals or entities named as co-conspirators. The document gave scant details, but prosecutors described CAIR as a present or past member of “the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee and/or its organizations.” The government listed the Islamic Society of North America and the North American Islamic Trust as “entities who are and/or were members of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.”

U.S. Strikes Al-Qaeda in Somalia!

Fox is reporting it’s payback for the embassy bombings in Kenya in the late ’90’s. Let’s hope it was a success.

UPDATE: Fox reports that a navy destroyer bombarded a remote village where Islamic militants were holed up:

The attack from a U.S. destroyer took place late Friday, said Muse Gelle, the regional governor. The extremists had arrived Wednesday by speedboat at the port town of Bargal.

Gelle said the area is a dense thicket, making it difficult for security forces from the semiautonomous republic of Puntland to intervene on its own.

A local radio station quoted Puntland’s leader, Ade Muse, as saying that his forces had battled with the extremists for hours before the U.S. ships arrived and used their cannons. Muse said five of his troops were wounded, but that he had no information about casualties among the extremists.

Militants have been trying to regain ground since being ousted by Ethiopian military a few months ago.

Pro-Democracy Rallies Met with Violence in Iran!

The Iranian regime cracked down hard on Iranians struggling for their independence from a brutal theocracy this week. The rallies go on undeterred by the Islamist violence and savagery. Aryamehr has footage of the students calling for regime change.

Kamangir has footage of the government brutality toward dissenters. One of his videos on YouTube has already been taken down, in deference to the Islamist thugs who infest the video sharing service. Watch the other two before they’re taken down:
