Anti-Zionists Driven Off from Israel Day Parade

I went to the Israel Day parade yesterday, one of dozens of patriots who answered the call to show their support for the peaceful celebration of the Jewish state that was targeted by leftists. The NYPD did a wonderful job keeping order and when I arrived the anti-Zionist protesters were already cordoned off and isolated from the rest of the crowd to minimize violence. They were divided into two groups

Group A:

And Group B:

The two groups were on the same side of the street, but on different ends of the block. The unofficial word is that group A, made up of leftists and their Islamist allies, didn’t want group B near them because they “didn’t want any conflict” between the two groups. In other words, the anti-Zionists couldn’t guarantee that their Muslim friends could stand next to a Jew without violence erupting.

But they aren’t anti-Semites.

Patriots from several different groups were on hand to support our friends in celebrating Israel, and of course many came prepared with signs:

Special thanks to Pamela Hall of the United American Committee for setting up the counter rally, and for enthusiastically getting our point of view across to the anti-Zionist agitators.

Support Israel This Sunday, May 6th

The Israel Day parade in NYC has been targeted by leftist anti-semites from groups like A.N.S.W.E.R. for disruption and possibly violence! It is imperative that American friends of Israel attend the parade in solidarity with our Jewish friends and in numbers great enough to dissuade the anarchists, communists and white supremacists from attacking the peaceful celebrants at Sunday’s rally.

Patriots will be meeting up at 59th and 5th at 2:00pm for a counter protest. Bring your friends and bring cameras so that agitators can be filmed committing their crimes. The U.A.C. is urging people to also bring signs, flags and banners so that parade attendees see that we support them in their celebration of peace, democracy and fraternity. Representitives from Gathering of Eagles and The Center for Vigilant Freedom will also be in attendance.

Anti-CAIR Protest in NYC This Saturday, May 5th

Americans Against Hate will be holding a rally tomorrow to protest the legitimizing of the terrorist mouth piece group CAIR and their campaign of intimidation against Americans. AAH founder Joe Kaufman will be calling on Mayor Bloomberg to remove CAIR member Omar Mohammedi from the NYC Commission on Human Rights given Mohammedi’s long association with anti-human rights activities.

Mohammedi currently represents a number of organizations that are the defendants in a 9/11 lawsuit for the murder of 3000 innocent people. One of the organizations he is the lawyer for is the World Assembly for Muslim Youth (WAMY), a Saudi-based group with offices around the globe that publishes incendiary materials against Jews and openly supports Hamas and violent jihad.

Mohammedi also represents six imams that were removed from a plane that was headed for Arizona in November of 2006, in a lawsuit against the airline and passengers that reported the imams’ suspicious behavior.

CAIR or the Council on American-Islamic Relations was created, in June of 1994, by leaders of the former American propaganda wing of Hamas, the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP). CAIR’s Executive Director Nihad Awad has publicly stated his support for Hamas; CAIR has solicited money for a Hamas charity (Holy Land Foundation) on its website; and to this day, CAIR refuses to condemn Hamas as a terrorist organization.

Supporters will be gathering May 5th outside the Manhattan Center Studios, 311 W.34th St. from 7:00-8:30pm. Kaufman will be giving a speech at 7:45.

Joe Kaufman can be scheduled for interviews by e-mailing info@AmericansAgainstHate.org.

E.U. Official “Wants to Strangle” Israeli Ambassador

Member of the European parliament Veronique De Keyser shocked the world with her pro-terrorist anti-Israeli statements to the European Left Group, who enthusiastically agreed with her contentions that Palestinain terrorists were showing their “moderation and maturity” in not killing more Jews than they already do:

“I wonder how they are able to limit violence in the territories given the background,” she said. “If the Israeli ambassador comes in the future to speak of Israel’s security, I feel like I want to strangle him.”

The event, held at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, was part of a campaign for the release of Marwan Barghouti, a Fatah terror leader serving a life sentence in Israel for his role in several murderous attacks.

French MEP Francis Wurtz, who heads the European United Left, announced that the appeal for the EU to recognize the “Palestinian national unity government” had already been signed by some sixty members of the European parliament.
The Foreign Office: ‘her words are not worthy of a response’

MEP De Keyser called on the German EU presidency “to differentiate between its positions on the Holocaust against the Jews and the current policy of the State of Israel.” Apparently trying to compare Israel with Nazi Germany while showing her supposed evenhandedness with regard to neck-wringing, she also said “one must wring the neck of the European and German culpability [sic] on the Shoah.”

The E.U.’s left leaning organizations are seemingly already gearing up for a second try at tackling the “Jewish question” which make it all the more imperative that we stand with Israel. Leftist in America are planning disruptions for the May 6th Israeli day parade so supporters are gathering at noon on the corner of 59th and 5th to counter protest the left wing hate fest. Representitives of The Center for Vigilant Freedom will be there and we’re expecting reps from U.A.C. and Gathering of Eagles. If you can make it out be there.
