2010 Bank Failure Rate More Than Double 2009
Almost America:Ft Hancock,Texas Under Siege
This Nightline video comes courtesy of Stand with Arizona and it clearly details that there is a low intensity conflict on the border between the failing Mexican state, powerful criminal gangs mistakenly called drug cartels (they make as much money from slave trading and extortion as they do from dealing) and Americans who have been abandoned by an uncaring federal government. For those of you close to the ever widening conflict zone this video gives a good glimpse into not just what the conflict entails, but what it takes to live through it. As Mexican paramilitaries and revolutionary groups push their control zones further into America, this is the type of living conditions many Americans will face.
At around 2:08 the report shows footage of Mexican drug/human smugglers in a firefight with law enforcement using Mexican military vehicles and weapons:
Latin American instability is not a concern just for border towns. Americans need to prepare for civil unrest as the transnational cartels exrt more and more control over not just border areas but major cities where they have established footholds either directly or through proxies who are known to work with them like MS-13.
