Lost in Lima, Ohio is one of my favorite blogs and I think it’s one of the best crime blogs around. But LiLo doesn’t just report on crimes, she is an agent of positive change in our crime ridden society.
A while ago she broke this story about Ellis Jewelers selling a heart shaped charms that were being used by so called “girl lovers” to identify each other. “Girl lover” is of course a nice way of describing a man who rapes little girls.
After seeing her disturbing and well researched post I put a blurb on my site about the story. After some weeks I forgot all about the story but LiLo’s reporting was slowly making it’s way into the right hands because an affiliate of Ellis Jewelers sent this message to Lost in Lima, Ohio and all the blogs that linked to her report:

We in no way endorse or approve of such actions as those implied by the symbol in question. We have removed all of these pieces from our product selection and are expressing our concerns to the manufacturer.
Ellis Jewelers in no way caters to or condones the actions of anyone participating in acts of pedophilia.

The charms in question are not to be found for sale on the Ellis website anymore, meaning the pedophiles who were using this unsuspecting jewelry seller to help them find partners in their degeneracy will have a harder time locating accomplices. This is all due to the diligence and proficiency of the Lost in Lima, Ohio blog.
I just want to acknowledge the class and integrity of Tim Hiatt for his attention t0 the matter, and more so, I think I speak for every American when I say thank you LiLo for winning this victory against the emboldened child rapist underground who have the temerity to proudly wear symbols of their perfidity as badges of honor.
Blogs can make a difference, and today Lost in Lima, Ohio has helped keep pedophiles from finding like minded individuals to further their evil.
