Gateway Pundit is reporting on the disgraceful behavior of Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi which will lead the destruction of one of Latin America’s only freedom loving countries by a Communist insurgency which funds itself by trafficking narcotics into the United States! According to sources within the House Democratic leadership, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has denied the request for a meeting with Uribe when he comes to Washington next week. Uribe’s staff has attempted to set up a meeting with Pelosi, offering to come to her offices with Uribe if necessary. Pelosi has refused the meeting.

“She has third parties who have encouraged her not to take the meeting,” says a leadership aide, who said a coalition of labor organizations and MoveOn.org had been pressuring her to not meet with Uribe. “We’ve never seen anything like it. It’s not like we’re talking about some family from San Francisco who stopped by her office unannounced. This is the president of a country.”

In Colombia, Uribe has been struggling against communist terrorist groups financed by Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, as well as leftist political pressure internally. All while attempting to work with the U.S. against narco-trafficking. “He’s a friend and an ally,” says a State Department source, who was unaware of Pelosi’s snub. “I’d be surprised that one of our national leaders would not meet with a strategic partner of the United States of America.”

He might be surprised, but I’m not. MoveOn.org and these various “labor groups” are nothing more than front groups for a collection of anti-American, pro-dictator cranks who are fighting against the U.S. and western civilization. MoveOn is full of racists, Communists and their nouveau riche enablers whose agenda goes far beyond unseating Bush but in ushering in a new age neo-Marxist totalitarianism world wide. And killing Jews of course.

F.A.R.C. is an armed Communist insurgency bent on destabilizing a soverign country and the Democrats, bowing to the pressure of MoveOn, are hamstringing that governments efforts to fend off a Chevez funded narco-terrorist coup. Columbia has fought F.A.R.C. for more than 30 years, and Democrats are now ready, with the flimsy pretext of being concerned about right wing paramilitary violence (as if there wouldn’t be armed bands of citizens fighting for their families and homes here if there was a violent Marxist insurgency) to force Columbia to surrender by withholding crucial military aid to the Columbian military who are hanging on by a thread.

With a war hungry Communist dictator in Latin America forging an alliance with Iran while helping to fund the Columbian insurgency, one would think the Democrats would see the importance of helping our allies, but instead have betrayed them and helped in the formation of a new Communist bloc on our southern border. When WW III starts, and Katyusha rockets are raining down on our boarder states, don’t forget to thank a Democrat, and MoveOn.org.
