Wave of Synagogue Desecration by Islamists!

Vandals spray painted anti-Israeli slogans and an as yet unidentified phrase written in Arabic, on the doors and walls of a Chicago area synagogue early Saturday morning in what local newscasters are saying is a possible hate crime. I suppose it’s possible the synagogue was vandalized with the deepest respect for the Jewish faith, and concern for their spiritual well being, making it a Love crime.

I call it Jihad.

The police have yet to even verify that the Arabic writing is indeed Arabic writing, but the link above shows video of the writing that should be all the verification viewers need. Hate crimes against Jews has been on the rise in America and abroad for several years now, fueled largely by the mainstreaming of “anti-Zionism” by leftist groups and the alliance of Marxist organization with radical Islam.

Communists, National Socialists and Islamists are joining together to overthrow the freedom loving peoples of the world, and as their ideologies intermingle Jews are the first to bear the brunt of their fury. Will Americans stand with their Jewish fellow citizens against this rising tide of hatred, or like the Chicago police turn a blind eye to it?

Kos Kid Slanders Drudge with Phony Child Porn “satire”

They took the offending post down, but The Post-Post Modernist transcribed the unseemly hit piece in its entirety. 186 K per Second has a screen shot and a link to the Google cache, complete with the vile comments you come to expect from the idle nouveau riche who are the main source of support for ‘netroots activism. Comments like this one from diarist JeckyllnHyde in response to another Kossacks worries that this joke may have gone too far:

Nothing we say or do here to malign this sleazeball will ever counter the outrageous claims Drudge and Faux News have made re: Democratic politicians for a number of years.

They deserve our ridicule and contempt.”

How’s that for reasonable debate? The author claims the post was satire, but many in his audience didn’t seem to be in on the joke. Elliot, who seems to believe almost anything he’s seen on the Internet is true, certainly didn’t realize this oh-so-funny post was a joke when he said:

It says something about a man that he hopes that someone is an avid collector of child porn. I always hope the opposite, to each his own I guess.

There’s more, but like I’ve said before, there’s only so long I’ll sit in the gutter, so see for yourself and be prepared to be shocked. Drudge hasn’t lowered himself to respond, but I’m sure his lawyers will.

A Post to Keep You from Sleeping Well Tonight

Bryan from Hot Air has a magnificent post up questioning what Iranian ascendancy, in large part fueled by their proxy army Hezbollah, means to the world and the future. As Britain capitulates to Iran on the diplomatic front, and our politicians ignore the White House and legitimize state sponsors of terror, the question of what the future holds for America should weigh heavily on all our minds. Here’s a taste:

“We may be seeing a re-primitivizing of war away from the organized, structured state-based model to something more feudal and harder to control. Hezbollah is a creature of Iran and Syria, but what’s to stop another Osama bin Laden from using his wealth to build another private terror army? What’s to stop 10 or 20 bin Ladens from doing that, and what’s to stop rogue states from helping them out? Nothing that I can see, and with the West divided over how even to deal with bin Laden, there isn’t likely to be a solution to the problem any time soon. The combination of that and the march of technology will make the non-state armies more lethal than their predecessors, and their lack of hard connections to nations and states will make them more apt to kill, not less, because their masters can wash their own hands of the blood. And because they can freelance without fearing that they’ll be keelhauled before the ICC. Civilians lose in this scenario, as the proxy army model destroys the wall between citizens and soldiers. Everyone’s a target, because no one’s held accountable.

In some ways, it’s all a reversion back to the days of pirates on the open seas. In Iran’s case, literally. But in the bad old days, pirates operates at the periphery of civilization, and for the most part civlization eradicated them (when civilized countries weren’t using pirates against each other). Iran’s shadow pirates operate all over the world, even in our own capitals, and their purpose isn’t primarily financial, but ideological.”

I definitely won’t sleep soundly tonight.
