Good News: Iran Says it’s Time for Armageddon!

New evidence has emerged that the Iranian government sees the current unrest in the Middle East as a signal that the Mahdi–or Islamic messiah–is about to appear.

CBN News has obtained a never-before-seen video produced by the Iranian regime that says all the signs are moving into place — and that Iran will soon help usher in the end times.

While the revolutionary movements gripping the Middle East have created uncertainty throughout the region, the video shows that the Iranian regime believes the chaos is divine proof that their ultimate victory is at hand.

The propaganda footage has reportedly been approved at the highest levels of the Iranian government.

It’s called The Coming is Near and it describes current events in the Middle East as a prelude to the arrival of the mythical tweflth Imam or Mahdi — the messiah figure who Islamic scriptures say will lead the armies of Islam to victory over all non-Muslims in the last days.

“This video has been produced by a group called the Conductors of the Coming, in connection with the Basiji — the Iranian paramilitary force, and in collaboration with the Iranian president’s office,” said Reza Kahlil, a former member of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards who shared the video with CBN News.

Kahlili, author of the book, A Time to Betray, worked as a double agent for the CIA inside the Iranian regime.

“Just a few weeks ago, Ahmadenijad’s office screened this movie with much excitement for the clerics,” Kahlili told CBN News. “The target audience is Muslims in the Middle East and around the world.”

The person that posted this old civil defense video to YouTube lists it as coming from F.E.M.A . in 2002 but looks like a mid 90s production judging by the actors clothing and level of technology.  No doubt it was recycled by the government later since much of the information is still fairly valid. The hardcore survivalist my laugh at the pitiful preps of the actors, but for the general public this is information that could save lives in the event of chemical or biological incidents or pandemics.

Condor Bush Cutlass: Inexpensive Alternative to Cold Steel?

Condor is known to make inexpensive yet serviceable blades for a variety of purposes. For the life of me I can’t really think of a use for a cutlass beside hewing limbs and plundering the high seas but this guy on Sword Forum international documented a field trial where he cleared brush with ease and style.

YouTube viking SkallagrimNilsson posted a video demonstrating the cutting power of the piece. There’s a part in the middle where he uses a couple of other blades but stick with it, he goes back to the Cutlass and in an impressive feat for a blade that retails for $60 he slices into a wood table without damaging the blade.

Impressive. If you need a cutlass but don’t have a couple of hundred to spend this seems like a great alternative to the more expensive and now hard to find Cold Steel 1917 Cutlass.

I found one on Amazon for $45, which since you’ll want to beat around the woods with it. I guess if you live in an area where firearms are restricted (or you’re restricted from having a firearm) a “machete” that handles like a saber may seem like a good idea, though you’ll need to find a way to train with it to use it effectively. I also know many of my readers are eccentric enough to prefer swords and bows and the like to firearms – it’s your life live it how you want.

Sans access to a “Western Martial Arts” school I’d recommend reading, and re-reading, Alfred Hutton’s Cold Steel: The Art of Fencing with the Sabre then watching the Cold Steel Cutlass/Saber DVD which will at least give you a grounding in using these sorts of blades in combat.

But if you were really going to rely on a blade for combat, why not save up and get the best money can buy? Still this is a good buy.

Anarchy in the U.K. – Coming to America April 4th

Left wing groups held a “protest” in London in which five police officers were hurt, one seriously. The “peaceful” demonstrates destroyed ATMs, attacked a hotel and were reported to have been throwing light bulbs filled with ammonia at people. It can be seen in many of the following videos that the English people – who the government disallows use of arms to and have no right of self-defense – are at the mercy of these crowds of thugs and communists. But British laws are frankly not that different than the laws in NYC or Chicago so the massive rallies Unions and their radical communist allies are planning for April 4th should be avoided at all costs by people in liberal run cities. Business owners should board up their windows and workers should call in sick.

Here’s a list of cities the April 4th rallies will be held. I see the Bronx and Newark are on the list. Stay out of there. Asheville, NC has one planned and I’ve been told that anarchist plan to raise hell there. The cities on the list I’m familiar with all share something in common – British style gun and self-defense laws. That’s not a coincidence.
