DailyKos Accused of Anti Semitism … By A Kossack!

Usually it’s the “wingnuts” who point out the massive amounts of pro-Islamist anti-Zionist propaganda that usually crosses the line into anti-semitism which is all over the left side of the Blogosphere. Deep down I knew actual liberals would be bothered by the disgusting rise in anti-semitic rhetoric from progressives, a by-product of their alliance with Islamic Imperialists, but I always assumed they’d toe the line and remain silent.

Now one former Kossack has spoken out in what he claims will be his last diary at the site. It is a poignant piece detailing the feelings of many liberals and progressives, especially Jewish and Israeli liberals, on seeing their movement turn their back on them and embrace those who want them dead:

Not a word on the hundreds of thousand of Jews expelled from the Arab countries and rehabilitated in Israel. Easier to blame Israel for not committing suicide by letting the Palestinian refugees back in, not blaming the Arab world for keeping them poor and desperate.

And Yet – every Palestinian village of an order of a hundred people is known, mapped, tracked and valued – not for their sake, but as another self righteous spike on a club bashing my nation’s collective head.

Barely a word for Darfur – Israel has been in a diary on dkos over 5000 times in the past year, Darfur less then 1000. How many thousands continue to be killed there by Muslims? If I did not know better I would think that on dkos bashing Israel was more important than saving lives. But what has gone in Sudan? Only 2 million dead versus the circa 7 thousand in the I/P conflict in the same period.

Why don’t people on dkos go for boycotting Pakistan? After all its troops killed and displaced about 1.5 million people in Bangladesh during the 1970’s… but since Muslims did the killing, no one cares for those lives or those people’s “Right of Return”…

Thinking I am going too far back? What about 100,000 people killed by Indonesia in East Timor barely a decade past? Where are the maps? the endless legalese debates on definitions and conventions and treaties???
Oh, right. Indonesians are not Jews, but Muslims.

Iranian Woman Strikes Blow for Feminism … Literally

The video comes via Sugerio who if he isn’t careful may earn himself a quasi racist, homophobic satire from Pandagon for daring to question American feminist’s commitment to equality and liberty. Scroll to the end of ilyka’s post and see her half hearted apology for making racist comments about me in post that she later retracts. Not that she actually made racist comments as far as I know; she’s responding to a comment I made on this post to one of her “friends” where she apparently discovered my semi-absolute moral authority. She reacted in the paternalistic and offensive way all white liberals do when they’re afraid of being called on their bigotry.

Of course after all her screeching, yet again it is we evil “wing nuts” who are publicizing the oppression of women in Iran. Years ago I was naive enough to think that there were issues that all Americans could rally around, just as I, a “rabid right winger” supported the protests against the Taliban’s treatment of women in the 90’s. Now I realize that most people on the left will take the opposite stand on any issue I bring up based on my Republican party membership, even when the issue is gender or racial equality.

At least Pandagon is reporting on this story of the arrest of Haleh Esfandiari, but read the comments and you’ll see why I hold out little hope for widespread support among “liberals” today. No, if Iranian women want liberty they’re going to do it for themselves:

Communist Shill Michael Moore’s Trip to Cuba Under Investigation!

Good. It’s about time the government started cracking down on celebrities and activists who end up in Cuba, often while money mysteriously disappears from charities and non-profits. To make matters worse, for years Moore and his far left allies have been visiting Cuba under the guise of activism, though they refuse to get involved in protesting the atrocities inside their Marxist playground, and propping up a regime that would have otherwise collapsed with their illegal activities.

Moore traveled to Cuba this time to film scenes for his anti-U.S. pro-Castro film SICKO, though I suspect that if one searched the right bank records you’ll find that Moore, like Code Pink and Cindy Sheehan, are little more than mules running money to the Communist regime sent from Castro supporting radicals in America. The problem is you need permission to go to Cuba, and Moore didn’t wait around to get his. The left will say that this proves Moore’s a rebel, I say it’s just another example of rich white trash thinking that money and notoriety entitle them to special treatment.

Western Hemisphere Policy Watch called out Moore on his trip weeks ago, and are rightfully ecstatic that Moore is being held to account, but is uncomfortable with other Cuba related actions the American government seems to be taking. Are we about to start “engaging” Cuba? If so why hit Moore now for something that may not be illegal in a couple of years?

Here’s a story Moore won’t tell you about Castro that illustrates just how much he cares for the health of the Cuban people – JFK’s Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara talking about a 1990’s era meeting with Castro he had. McNamara was a player in the Cuban missile crisis:

Edwards Coddles Truthers?

Allah thinks so, I’m leaning the other way. When a truther who has a habit of surprising politicians with conspiracy related nonsense, you can plainly see that Edwards waits to see what the crowd thinks, then directs the kid to “the guy in the blue shirt” to get his information. I’ve no doubt that in doing so Blue Shirt made it clear to the truther that more than a building can fall on someone who might embarrass the boss.

Say what you want about Edwards, but if you think he’s above having a truther or two roughed up if they get out of line you’re dreaming. These are the Democrats were talking about.

I’m with AllahPundit on this point though the applause at the end is disturbing, implying that Edwards basically got lured into a room full of anti-government wackos. I don’t blame him for not throwing down with a truther in a room full of them, but who’s running the Edwards campaign’s security that he ends up in that situation in the first place?

Olbermann: Jersey Jihad a Hoax!

The exact quote is “the F.B.I. claims it has broken up a plot to attack Fort Dix in New Jersey.” It pops up in the very beginning of one of his most vile rants:

Olbermann here is basically claiming that the whole affair is a hoax, a ruse with which evil Republicans and their minions in the F.B.I. and New Jersey law enforcement can steal more of America’s precious civil liberties. He has gone beyond the typical nutrootism with which we’re all acquainted and settled firmly into trutherland. I expect he’ll soon be calling for 4/29 truth and a complete investigation of the moon landing.

The problem Keith has with the F.B.I. story is that the six men arrested are “morons” and thus, in Olbermann’s mind, not dangerous. Olbermann Watch presents the best argument against Olbermann and his moonbattery in this post. Here’s a taste:

Keith conveniently ignores that just a few weeks ago there was a deranged “moron” who, acting alone, killed over 30 people with just two handguns. Zacharrias Moussoui was caught before he could carry out the 9/11 attacks because he was such a “moron” that he told flight instructors he only wanted to learn how to take off – yet 19 other “morons” killed close to 3,000 people. The 1993 World Trade Center bombers were such “morons” that one of them went back to the Ryder rental office to claim his deposit on the truck used to blow up the Tower One parking garage – after they had killed six people and injured over 1,000. A border patrol agent prevented the Millennium Plot because one of these “morons” was caught with a cache of explosives in the trunk of his car. A transatlantic flight did not explode over the ocean because Richard Reid was such a “moron” that he was unable to light the fuse for the bomb in his shoe before being tackled by an alert passenger and a flight attendant.

Apparently Keith Olbermann wants a new government policy to limit its investigations to terrorists with SAT scores over 2,000 and a 3.4 GPA.

Isn’t Keef Olberdouche the same idiot who went into a tizzy over some media outlets making light of his panic over some laundry soap mailed to him awhile back? I guess it matters most when it’s him or someone else he cares about (as if he actually cares about anyone BUT himself), and not American soldiers at an American military base.
