Black and Latino Gang Feud Turning California Town into War Zone

Monrovia is a small city nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. 26 miles from the mean streets of Los Angeles, the town with a population of less than 40,000 is, on paper, hardly the kind place to wracked by gang violence. Such quaint notions have been dispelled for many as a teen girl was murdered and another wounded in apparent retaliation for Latino hate crimes against Blacks. Detectives are now warning parents that their children, gang members and non-gang members alike, are in danger of being the victims of an escalating cycle of violence:

MONROVIA – Detectives warned parents of teens Monday to be on high alert after two 16-year-old girls were shot, one fatally, in the latest round of escalating black-versus-Latino gang violence.

“This concerns me a great deal,” said Lt. Dan Rosenberg of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau. “Parents in the area should know there is an ongoing gang feud. If their teens are at a party, make sure they stay inside the house, or that they at least stay in the back yard.

“As we know with most of these gang shootings, the majority of the victims were usually shot while standing in the front of the home,” he said. “It is important for the readers to be on alert.”

Monrovia Mayor Rob Hammond also expressed concern. He met Monday with Duarte, Arcadia and county officials to formulate a plan to address the on-going violence. Monrovia already has beefed up police patrols, according to city officials.

The murdered girl was not a gang member, but 16 year old Sammantha Salas. She was an innocent victim caught up in a conflict orchestrated by decades of government complacency which allowed gangs imported from Latin America to run head on into our own violent gangs, with inevitable results. The Monrovia authorities are desperately spinning the killings as a “simple” matter of gang violence on the one hand while on the other claiming people pointing out the obvious racial component of this crime wave as “oversimplifying” the situation. The facts show them to be wrong on both counts:

Although they were not gang members, the girls were “specifically targeted,” Rosenberg said, adding that it is “quite unusual (for gang members) to target females.”

Rosenberg said detectives see connections between Salas’ shooting, the Jan. 12 shooting of a 16-year-old black teen who was wounded in the lower body, and the fatal shooting one day later of 64-year-old Sanders “Pete” Rollins, a black man who was hit by a shotgun blast while walking toward the front door of his Sherman Avenue home.

The suspects in both shootings were described as Latino.

Investigators believe the spate of shootings and other gang-linked violence in recent months stems from an on-going battle between a long-established black gang in the area and a relatively new Latino gang, he added.

“The reality is, there is a feud going on,” Rosenberg said. “It appears that this (newest shooting) is possibly racially motivated. Based on what we know now, it doesn’t involve any feuding involving drugs or turf or boundaries.”

I doubt that the 64 year old Mr Rollins was a known gang banger. It is more likely that he was targeted simply because he was Black, a situation that has been happening more and more. The feds have already begun indicting Latino gangs for hate crimes, and the shooter of the above mentioned 16 year old black teen was arrested amidst reports that police suspect the crime was racially motivated:

MONROVIA – Authorities today arrested a 19-year-old Latino man in connection with a Jan. 12 racially motivated shooting that left a black teen paralyzed, officials said.

Jimmy Santana of Duarte was booked on suspicion of attempted murder and is being held on $500,000 bail.

The victim, a 16-year-old Monrovia High School student, was in front of a church in the 2000 block of Peck Road in unincorporated Monrovia. The victim was hit in the abdomen and buttocks, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Detective Scott Schulze, who withheld the boy’s name to protect him from retaliation.

The victim of a shooting has to have his identity protected to avoid “retaliation” for his attacker going to jail. Madness! A madness that White liberals who promoted the false dream of a “rainbow coalition” amongst “brown people” (gently guided by those same White liberals of course) created while ignoring the warning signs that have been appearing for decades. White liberals see Blacks and Latinos as essentially the same, and thought nothing of encouraging not just illegal immigration which is only peripherally a factor in this chaos, but the importation of Latin American culture and custom which are often less enthusiastic about “celebrating diversity.”

These deaths are the result, in part, of a culture of divisiveness where the assimilation of American values (like not killing old Black men) is seen as a racist attack on another’s culture. These deaths and maiming are more blood on White liberals hands.

The wave of bias attacks by Latino gangs has caused retaliatory strikes by hard pressed but no less vile Black gangs. These gangs are the product of decades subtle encouragement by the American media and left wing political establishment to disenfranchise themselves and become a a lawless nation within a state who make the lives of our poorest and most vulnerable a living hell.

Sammantha Salas and her unidentified friend were victims of two of these home grown terrorists, who could care less if the girls were gang members or not, as long as they were Latino.

Monrovia’s Black population is under 9%, while it’s Hispanic population is a little over 35%. 13.5% were immigrants from Latin America. Those figures were as of 2002 and don’t include the undocumented. The race war Latino gangs wanted to start will obviously favor them as the ultimate winners, especially given the medias obvious bias toward the Latino victims (there’s little mention of Rollins in the news I’ve seen) the county officials refusal to admit the problem even exists.

Read this statement from Monrovia city manager Scott Ochoa and remember that this declaration of ignorance comes two years after the Southern Poverty Law Center’s report of the racist motives of Latino gang attacks on Blacks in … Los Angeles.

Mexico City Segregates Buses to Stop Sexual Harassment

Apparently in Mexico it’s thought outrageously naive to expect men to not molest women on crowded public buses. The situation has become so bad that officials have adopted a measure put forward by women’s rights groups who clearly set the bar for women’s lib very low:

MEXICO CITY – Groping and verbal harassment is an exasperating reality for women using public transportation in this sprawling capital, where 22 million passengers cram onto subways and buses each day. Some men treat women so badly that the subway system has long had ladies-only cars during rush hour, with police segregating the sexes on the platforms.

But that hasn’t helped women forced to rely on packed buses, by far the city’s most-used form of public transportation — until this week.

Acting on complaints from women’s groups, the city rolled out “ladies only” buses, complete with pink signs in the windshields to wave off the men.

As word spreads about the buses, the women seem delighted, while some men forced to wait a few minutes longer have shown their anger. Still others have stumbled on board despite the signs, much to their embarrassment.

On Thursday, passengers on one of the female-only buses spent most of their trip down the capital’s tree-lined Reforma Avenue chatting or putting on makeup, instead of fighting off unwanted male attention.

Mexico City’s female-only buses run along three busy routes throughout the day for now, but the city plans to add them to 15 other routes by April, said Ariadna Montiel, who directs the public bus system.

“Women were asking for this service because of the sexual harassment, especially groping and leering,” Montiel said.

And while some men have complained that they have to wait longer for a bus, she said the women are thrilled: “The women are really happy and we have been getting a lot of e-mail and letters from them.”

Juliana Romero, a 49-year-old secretary, said not riding with men is “fantastic.”

“When the bus is packed, there will inevitably be a lecherous man who will bother you,” she said.

Women-only buses or subways have been rolling for years in India, Brazil, Japan and other countries. Mexico City finally took the action as part of a growing responsiveness to complaints about discrimination against women, Montiel said.

So women’s groups in Mexico aren’t demanding that men act civilized, but that women are separated from them. Like in India, Brazil and Japan there seems to be a culture of misogyny that puts the blame of sexual exploitation not on men or the society’s permissiveness with regard to male sexual battery, but instead blames access to women for men molesting them.

Multiculturalists should take note and decide if there really is an inherent parity between cultures. I’d rather my wife or daughter ride a bus in America, surrounded by people who agree at least to the basic standards of American behavior (you know, like not molesting women in public) than in Mexico City, frilly pink ride or not.

But I guess that makes me a racist.

The Senseless Horror of the Nixzmary Brown Case

As the step-father of Nixzmary Brown, (a girl betrayed by all of New York) stands trial for her brutal death, new details of the horrific torments he and the girl’s own mother perpetrated on the defenseless child are emerging and raising more questions as to how city child service workers could have missed the obvious signs of abuse. Fox News exposes the living Hell this innocent girl suffered through:

NEW YORK — There had been warning signs for years before 7-year-old Nixzmary Brown died from a vicious blow to the head.

School employees had reported that she had been absent for weeks the previous year. Neighbors noticed unexplained injuries and noted the child appeared underfed and small for her age. Child welfare workers had been alerted twice but said they found no conclusive evidence of abuse.

Two years after the girl’s death shocked the city, hastened child welfare reforms and made her name synonymous with child abuse, opening statements were expected to begin Wednesday in her stepfather’s murder trial.

Nixzmary’s personal hell was likely to be exposed through symbols of her horrific demise: the rope used to tether her to a chair, the cat-litter box she used as a toilet, the bathtub used to dunk her under cold water.

Authorities say evidence against her stepfather, Cesar Rodriguez, includes crime-scene photos inside the family’s three-bedroom apartment and a videotape of the defendant casting blame on the malnourished victim, who weighed 45 pounds at the time of her death.

“Sometimes she used to get me real angry and I used to just throw her,” Rodriguez said during a post-arrest interview made public during a family court hearing.

Prosecutor Ama Dwimoh has called it a case of torture.

Nixzmary “was beaten repeatedly,” Dwimoh said. “She was bound like an animal.”

There were unexplained bruises all over her body but child welfare workers could find no evidence of abuse? The girl appeared underfed to untrained observers (and it turned out they were right) yet child welfare workers could find no evidence of abuse? The girl was bound to chairs and made to use a litter box, but neither of these things left any evidence of abuse?

I dare say that the kind of people who make a 7 year old use a litter box are probably the kind of people living in filth and squalor. I doubt they cleaned up after the poor girl nor did they treat the rope burns that surely result from being tied to a chair frequently.

There was plenty of evidence of abuse here but no properly trained, and I’ll put forward motivated, adult to handle the situation. My mother became a child welfare worker for NYC decades ago, when all you needed was a college degree and some common sense. Not one to avoid laying a heavy hand on a child herself, my mother never the less set out like some child welfare Elliot Ness, removing children from homes in the middle of the night with no more than a handful of patrolmen and the dismissive attitude of a city employee as soon as she got the slightest whiff of abuse.

Then in the 90s the city switched from hiring competent ,caring individuals to demanding people have Master’s degrees in Social Work.

An MSW program distills the worst aspects of Sociology and and other Marxist disciplines into one useless two year period where candidates learn that American standards of decency and morality are wrong. It is less a graduate program and more a leftist pretension, the perpetuation of Marxist theories on family relations under the cover of higher learning

Thus the new breed of child welfare worker is slow to act in the best interest of the child at hand in their zeal to not oppress the poor. They are willing to accept barbaric behavior from parents, especially parents from another culture, in the name of multiculturalism.

But the worst idea coming from this horde of MSWs is “family reunification” as the ideal outcome of their attentions. The dirty little secret about the family reunification theory is that it’s based in the racist idea that a child like Nixzmary is better off left in an abusive household with her “family” than end up in a caring foster home with White, Black or Asian caregivers. Children are routinely given to family members of abusive parents because it’s considered better for a Black child, for example, to be with Black people, even though time and again it turns out that apples don’t fall far from the tree. I doubt Nixzmary’s mother had relatives who would have been kinder to the child than the man she brought into her home and allowed to kill her daughter.

I can’t say exactly why social workers didn’t remove the child, but my theory is their own miseducation and a system run by people more interested in leftist theorizing than Nixzmary Brown was the reason for their inaction. What I know from experience is that non-profits like the YMCA (including the NYC YMCA) have stricter standards for what constitutes abuse than the NYC child welfare workers, and that’s something that shouldn’t be.

Nixzmary Brown could have been saved by two different city employees but she wasn’t. No overhaul of the child welfare system that doesn’t include retraining the workers will prevent another tragedy like this from happening.

No Bias Here: MSNBC Reports on Evil Jews and Brave Muslim Terrorists

There’s so much wrong with this report I don’t know where to start. Maybe where MSNBC implies that Palestinian mortar and rocket attacks into Israel are in response to Israeli incursions or perhaps I should start with the part where they show the frightened Palestinian children running in terror from the (conveniently off camera) Jews:

Funny, Charles Johnson hasn’t proclaimed them Nazis yet. I guess MSNBC is less threatening to Jews than the CVF.

The Impact of Illegal Immigration on Black Americans

This short video from NumbersUSA features civil rights activist T. Willard Fair discussing the negative impact unfettered illegal immigration has had on Black communities and how it’s slowed our economic progress since the civil rights era.

It’s well worth your time and provides good ammunition for shooting down left wing propaganda claiming that only White racists are concerned about illegal immigration:
