Founding Member of Illinois Minutemen Won Republican Primary for 5th District

One would think a story with that headline would be red meat for the left as they could easily use the compliant media to paint Republican Rosanna Pulido as another “fascist” Republican to rally against, but as even local media have pointed out most of the media have kept pretty mum on her.

What gives?

She touches on the truth of the matter. “Reagan” Democrats are staring the Democrat Party’s biggest betrayal of them in the face in the form of the Stimulus and were already leaning right on issues like illegal immigration. District 5 is a “bitter gun clinger” kind of place and the more face time Pulido gets the more likely it is that fed up Conservative Democrats and Independents get flipped to the GOP. So the Democrats and their media proxies are left with trying to keep her out of sight and hopefully out of mind until the election.

While I often point out I’m a Republican not a Conservative and I don’t agree with Pulido on all issues, I believe in the big tent being big enough for everyone who loves America  and fully endorse and support Pulido in her run for office. Help her out by spreading the word and contribute if you can.

Car Bomb in Memphis?

Fox is reporting that the A.T.F. is investigating an explosion in Memphis outside of a funeral home that may be linked to a similar incident last month in Arkansas.

From Fox13:

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Fire Department and Bomb Squad are on the scene of a car explosion at 5545 Murray Road near Oakhaven and the Memorial Funeral Home in East Memphis.

The incident happened just before noon Thursday, when a gold Nissan Maxima exploded in a parking lot. The condition of the female owner of the car is not known, but has been transported to The Med for injuries sustained from the explosion.

Memphis Police Director Larry Godwin says that they are working closely with the FBI & ATF officers, and that the scene is safely secured. Godwin stated that they plan to deploy a bomb robot to ensure that no other explosive devices are in the area. A bomb-sniffing dog will comb the area as a final precaution.

The car owner’s husband has been detained by police as a person of interest in this incident.

Victimless Crime Files: Meet Matt Lewis, Harmless Pot Smoker

Except for his long history of assault and thievery. Oh and allowing someone to get his 14-month-old baby so high the kid didn’t react to being given needles in the emergency room, which is where the baby and father of the year ended up. But hey, if we legalize pot then this wouldn’t have happened right guys?

There are people who act as if decriminalization will simply end the problems with drug use, ignoring the fact that drug use often is in and of itself a problem that burdens society. No change in drug policy should be considered until we have an educational program that clearly outlines the truth about substance abuse, it is never harmless. It especially isn’t harmless when the user is a parent.

Victimless Crime File: Animal Abuse Edition Featuring Barack Obama’s Drug Czar

Or his kid really, who has just broken his probation so he’s getting ready to head back to the joint according to the smiley pseudo-journalists at Gawker. Web of Deception has a summary of the arrests of Jeffery Scott Kerlikowske who is the son of former Seattle police chief and Obama’s drug czar R. Gil Kerlikowske.

The younger Kerlikowske’s rap sheet is long and disturbing. It includes:

Wow. Most of his cases were in Florida and if I may read between the lines using my awesome detective skills our drug czar has a son who didn’t really work, stole pot from dealers to get high and beat the crap out of his old lady. He likely killed her pet during a drug addled abuse binge.

“But pot smokers are mellow and all sweetness and light!” some of you are screaming. Yawn. As I have pointed out before chronic or heavy marijuana use mimics the symptoms of mental illness. People who are high think and do things sober people don’t (which is the reason people get drunk or high in the first place) and that can lead to awful situations.

Look at the story of Acea Shomaker via Shadowscope:

According to the Lancaster County, Nebraska, Sheriff’s Office deputies were sent out to the home that Ace shares with his grandfather on a domestic disturbance call. Everything was hunky-dory and the deputies got the issue resolved when dispatch called them back to let the officers know there was an outstanding warrant for Ace on a drug paraphernalia charge, so they turned around to pay him another visit. When they arrived the deputies got more than they expected.

When the police came back into the home they found Ace already burning one in a homemade bong. It was a few pieces of plexiglass held together with duct tape (see, another great use for duct tape!) with a bowl attached and a garden hose coming out the other end. Check out the pic below.

hat’s pretty damn inventive. I’ve seen homemade bongs made out of coke cans and all sorts of stuff, but never one quite like this, particularly with enough room for a cat.

A cat?

Yep, police officers found Acea Shomaker smoking a bowl and sharing with his cat, Shadow, who was stuffed inside the bong for full effects. Ace told the officers that the cat was too hyper and he was just trying to calm it down. Asshat.

According to deputies the cat was dazed and did nothing but lie on the seat of the police car wrapped in a blanket all the way to the humane society.

There’s video at Shadowscope as well if your blood isn’t boiling already. More interesting though are the quotes from the pothead on his MySpace which paint a very different picture of drug use than the giggling constant party some people seem intent on convincing us it is:

So, yeah my head as of late has been contemplating a lot of things. Such as what the fuck do i do about my future, my path has been completely overgrown by the thicket of procrastination. That’s one of my major problems, i never really initiate change, at least not for the better it seems, but i really do wanna try to straighten this out. But the big issue there is that how can i try and ask anyone for help if im not willing to help them, but if im too busy helping them or too stupid to realize that im getting fucked, then how the fuck to i help myself? I think i might be able to get some support from some new friends as well as some of my old ones, but for the most part, i think i need to sever most of the past that i have. Bad blood only breeds bad blood. My father is bad blood, but maybe through my actions i can cleanse mine. That’s not to say that a lot of these stains are through my own actions, i have wrought pain, destruction, violence, anger, and greed, all through my own doing, but i have suffered all of these as well, many times alone…

Yeah. I get a lot of comments by people who claim that some people “need” to get high to relax, deal with problems, etc. That’s a problem, because that is the essence of addiction. And the above is where all addicts are most of the time in that frame of mind that is just beyond depression yet just short of insanity. That’s a dangerous place for a person to be.

It’s more dangerous for the pets they own.

John Conyers’ Gutterslut Wife Hurls Racist Abuse at White Folks at Detroit City Council Meeting

It’s after reading articles like Nolan Finley’s recent piece from The Detroit News detailing Monica Conyers that I’m glad we Bi-racial people are so devastatingly good looking that people are eager to claim we’re one of theirs. Until Conyers (and the rest of the Black folk from that area) starts acting right, if anyone asks I’m Sicilian.

Read this and try not to hang your heads in shame if you’re Black:

My hopes for Detroit’s future faded as I watched the tape of last Tuesday’s council meeting, the one that considered the Cobo Center expansion deal.

It was a tragic circus, a festival of ignorance that confirmed the No. 1 obstacle to Detroit’s progress is the bargain basement leaders that city voters elect. The black nationalism that is now the dominant ideology of the council was on proud display, both at the table and in the audience.

Speakers advocating for the deal were taunted by the crowd and cut short by Council President Monica Conyers, who presided over the hearing like an angry bulldog; whites were advised by the citizens to, “Go home.”

Back to the homes that sell for more than $7500? Maybe instead of throwing White folks out of Detroit the people there should start begging them to spend some money there, but that might mean losing the charm of living in a decayed ruin of a city the Democrats mine for votes every couple of years while praries are growing in the middle of the place and blues musicians are selling racoon meat to people for extra cash.

But who needs investment when you have dignity, right?

Opponents were allowed to rant and ramble on uninterrupted about “those people” who want to steal Detroit’s assets and profit from the city’s labors.

A pitiful Teamster official who practically crawled to the table on his knees expressing profuse respect for this disrespectful body was battered by both the crowd and the council.

When he dared suggest that an improved Cobo Center would create more good-paying jobs for union workers, Conyers reminded him, “Those workers look like you; they don’t look like me.”

Desperate, he invoked President Barack Obama’s message of unity and was angrily warned, “Don’t yousay his name here.“

Ugh. Did I say dignity? I never thought i would say this about a politician but Monica Conyers is straight ghetto.

Hope and Change didn’t quite make it unscathed to Detroit. I guess “those people” who want to bring jobs and money to Detroit should look to invest somewhere else. Maybe somewhere where a gold digging gutterslut doesn’t use her bought and paid for political position to bully people as foreplay for her next game of slap and tickle with John “Let’s try Bush for War Crimes I made Up” Conyers. When she can get him away from Cindy Sheehan that is. But that’s just a rumor, and speculation on my part as to why Monica is so angry at White people.

I remember hearing John Conyers was married a couple of years ago and thinking “to a lady?” and I see now that though Monica might be female, she’s no lady.
