Surprise! Blogger Behind “McCain-Palin Mob” Video a Degenerate Child Predator

Blogger Interrupted hack Tim Russo was picked up in an F.B.I. sting in 2001 trying to meet what he thought was a 13-year-old boy. He’s riding a wave of popularity on the left after baiting some morons into blurting out nasty comments on video about Obama, but as Newsbusters points out prior to this Russo was pretty much burning bridges with his fellow lefties because his antics.

Typical of most predators, Russo presents himself as a victim rather than a sexual sadist who was looking for a child to defile. He also claims he tried to rape a child because he’s gay, which is outrageous nonsense but few lefties are calling him on it. Here’s his story straight form the pervert’s mouth:

I became a professional at hooking up online, so much so that not only did it take over my life, I began taking the worst of risks.

I lowered the age I professed myself to be. The professed age of men I chatted with online became younger and younger. The picture of myself looked just young enough, just cute enough, to land some pretty hot guys. I needed more. I started to justify myself by saying, hey, what’s the difference between 25 & 21? Between 20 & 18? The spiral quickened.

One day in April, 2001, someone pretending to be 13 years old showed up in the chat room. I struck up a chat. It proceeded very rapidly to discussion of sex. Then he disappeared for months. I breathed a sigh of relief. That was stupid, I thought. Glad that’s over. I was fooling myself.

In October, the professed 13-year-old showed up again, and by then, 6 months deeper into the descent, the die had been cast. I didn’t care anymore about risk, about right or wrong, about anything or anyone but me and my desires, however foolish they’d become.

I had been freed. Finally, after all these years, I’ve got access to what’s been denied me my entire life, what I denied to myself – my own sexuality. I thought everything that ever hurt me had been defeated, and I was finally invulnerable to it, so much so that I could delve into the worst of it, almost out of spite.

In reality, everything that ever hurt me had not surrendered but had won, and was now poised for its final victory lap.

The FBI agent reeled me in like a fish on a line. Got any porn to share? What would we do if we were alone? I must have looked like the most pathetic sitting duck for the FBI and their friends from WEWS NewsChannel5. This guy is too good to be true.

I had so perfectly regressed to that first day with Bobby in the fort, the reckless abandon of assumed invincibility had taken over. The words I wrote in those chats were not written by a lawyer, political consultant, or professional who should be at the top of his game, but by a child angry at the world. Age 34.

Poor baby. How can we not sympathize with a 34-year-old man looking to sodomize a child? That just goes to show you how insensitive we “wingnuts” are?

The link in the excerpt goes to another article of his where we learn that Donna Brazille offered him a big roll in the Al Gore campaign. Apparently Tim Russo was some sort of big fish in the Democratic Campaigning pond. I guess Donna’s not so good a judge of character.

Blogger Interrupted might be a political blog, but it’s full of the standard fare you’d find on any pedophile blog. Narcissistic demands that others play along with his inflated sense of self worth? Check. Self-important fantasies about being oppressed? Check. Childish tantrums at how unfair he’s treated? Double check.

Top it off with the creepy Obama worship and you begin to see why many liberals like to pretend he isn’t one of theirs. Enjoy your new popularity now Tim, you’ll be shunned soon enough. And in the meantime maybe you should spend a little less time on sites where there’s a lot of teens, just to be on the safe side.

Level 3 Sex Offender Allowed to Work with Vulnerable Women in NYC

More than 30 years ago Max Lindeman was one of two men who who raped and tortured a nun in Harlem in a grotesque crime that included the assailants cutting 27 crosses into the victim. Lindeman did a little over 13 years in jail before being released in 1995 and registered as a Level 3 offender. He then set about making a new life for himself in New York as a well respected liberal activist.

His new job at the Center for Community Alternatives puts him in charge of a program that serves vulnerable women, but even before that it seems that Lindeman was quite the Democrat man about town. Here’s his CCA bio:

Max Lindeman comes to the Center for Community Alternatives as Senior Director of Court Services after working with the Fortune Society for more than 11 years, most recently as Associate Vice President. Max also has extensive experience in substance abuse and performance-based programming, clinical and quality assurance skills, and has worked in private practice providing individual and group psychotherapy. He has served on the New York County Democratic Nomination Committee for Supreme Court Judges. Max has an undergraduate degree, as well as Paralegal and Criminal Justice certificates, from Marist College; an MSW from Yeshiva University; and is currently pursuing a PhD in Social Welfare at Yeshiva, examining the factors associated with successful re-entry into society following incarceration.

Here’s the website of The Fortune Society which you’ll be unsurprised to see is very concerned criminals who are eligible to vote do so. What’s more concerning is the idea that a man who raped, sodomized and mutilated a nun and was judged to be in the category of highest risk of re-offending upon release has been involved in the selection of Judges in New York. It explains a lot about New York doesn’t it?

A man who served time in the brutal rape and torture of a Harlem nun nearly 30 years ago has shockingly forged a new life helping to pick judges and working in an office that solely deals with female defendants – despite being registered as a high-risk sex offender.

Max Lindeman, 50, recently became the senior director of court services for the Center for Community Alternatives – an organization that works to get nonviolent offenders into counseling and drug-treatment programs rather than face imprisonment.

While Lindeman oversees programs for men, women and teens, his desk is in a Manhattan office that serves only women.

This is the same man who pleaded guilty to the 1981 attack on a nun who was beaten and raped inside a Harlem church. Twenty-seven crosses were carved into her flesh with a nail file.

He was released in 1995 after more than 13 years in jail and remains a registered Level 3 sex offender, the highest-risk category.

Lindeman’s presence in the office “makes a mockery of a sanctuary for women,” said a person familiar with the situation.

His bio on the center’s Web site also says he has served on the New York County Democratic Nomination Committee, which selects who runs for state Supreme Court judgeships.

CCA officials argue that his story is one of redemption. And Lindeman says he is simply trying to help others avoid his mistakes.

“I’ve been out of prison for 14 years – and I haven’t hurt anyone,” he said.

That we know of. You’ll excuse me if I don’t take the word of a level 3 sex offender who has wrangled himself a job where he has power of women. Read the rest and tell me you think this is a good idea.

But New York liberals think it’s a great one. They think that a depraved sadist can simply turn over a new leaf, that allowing him to work in an office where women looking for someone to help them is appropriate. Dozens of people think this man should have a say in picking judges, he should be involved in people’s sobriety, should be able to vote. It’s outrageous.

There is nothing which paints a starker contrast between New York liberals and the rest of America than their acceptance of man who has done such terrible things into their lives. Some will argue that Lindeman deserves a second chance but does that mean we allow him to pick our judges? Council our children who are addicted to drugs? Run an office where women facing jail time think their last hope for freedom resides?

This is madness but this particular madness has a name. Liberalism.

Noted Man’s Man John Cole of Balloon Juice Says John McCain a Coward

John Cole is some Obama groupie that runs the very manly named Balloon Juice blog. I’m not sure what he looks like but I visualize him thusly:

Cole thinks that McCain is a coward because he released an ad attacking Obama instead of grabbing Barry by the lapel during the Townhall, slapping him hard across the face and yelling “Why do you love terrorists you rat bastard!?!” to the joyous howls of we crazed wingnuts. Never mind that had McCain done something like that Obama would wet himself, curl up into a ball and wait for George Soros to buy him a new Presidency, to Cole McCain’s attempt to run a campaign the exact same way all campaigns (including Obama’s) have been running since the dawn of time is proof of cowardice:

John McCain is not man enough to own his shit. John McCain will not openly confront Obama with his smears and lies and innuendo. John McCain will not come out and talk about Ayers, he has to be asked. That is why he goes to places like Fox News, so he can be asked. What a coincidence.

John McCain is a coward.

John McCain would rather hide behind his wife and Sarah Palin than say it himself.

He would rather produce 2 minute ads that his campaign will never pay to air anywhere, and hope that the tire-swinging media will bring up the topic so he doesn’t have to do it himself.

John McCain just wants to throw shit out there, and “raise questions” about Obama, and hope his supporters connect the dots, because he is too much of a coward to directly push this toxic stew. He would rather hide behind right-wing bloggers, surrogates, and scummy websites staffed with wingnut welfare recipients like the NRO and the Weekly Standard.

John McCain had 90 minutes to bring this stuff up to Obama, to his face, and passed.

John McCain is a coward.

Meanwhile the comments to that very post are filled with people with handles like “Raincrow” and “LiberalTarian” spreading around smears of McCain with reckless abandon. I am eagerly awaiting Cole, the John Wayne of the blogosphere, to lay down the law with his fellow liberals and tell them it’s unacceptable to hide behind a fake name hurling accusations. Then I’m sure Cole will invite “Raincrow” and “LiberalTarian” on the car trip he plans to take to find McCain and call him a coward to his face.

Oh wait. John Cole wouldn’t never confront a man face to face, he’d just write about it. He’s what we call a punk. Preaching to the choir he rubs out slander after slander about people he disagrees with all the while embodying the very effeminate imbecility that defines the left. McCain’s a coward because he won’t get in Obama’s face? What’s Obama going to do if McCain does? Kick his ass?

Doubtful. Like children Cole and his groupies happily buy into some fantasy of a super Obama who’s tough as nails (after all, he’s Black) and doesn’t take guff from anyone, but the reality is that Obama would be taking more than guff from McCain were they in prison together. Obama is popular with liberals because he’s just like them, a mincing spoiled man-child who hurls insults and challenges at people when he knows it is safe but doesn’t have the backbone to take action. John Cole is the coward, he and everyone that frequents Balloon Juice where comments are moderated lest their tender sensibilities be hurt by some truth telling. Here on Red Alerts unless it’s spam or slanders someone else I leave comments critical of me up. How many comments critical of you have you deleted today John Cole?

See. You’re a craven coward who can’t even handle some web based bad mouthing. You’re not fit to decide who is or is not a coward in this election or anything else.

ACORN Offices Raided in Nevada

More voter fraud from a organization that receives taxpayer money even though they’ve been caught red-handed multiple times breaking the law. Via BrietBart:

LAS VEGAS (AP) – Nevada state authorities are raiding the Las Vegas headquarters of an organization that works to get low-income people to vote.

A Nevada secretary of state’s office spokesman said Tuesday that investigators are looking for evidence of voter fraud at the office of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN.

No one was at the ACORN office when state agents arrived with a search warrant and began carting records and documents away.

Secretary of State spokesman Bob Walsh says ACORN is accused of submitting multiple voter registrations with false and duplicate names.

The raid comes two months after state and federal authorities formed a task force to pursue election-fraud allegations in Nevada.

ACORN is so arrogant they don’t even try to hide their fraud:

The group was submitting the information through a voter sign-up drive known as Project Vote.

“Some of them used nonexistent names, some of them used false addresses and some of them were duplicates of previously filed applications,” Walsh said, describing the complaints, which largely came from the registrar in Clark County, Nev.

Secretary of State Ross Miller said the fraudulent registrations included forms for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys football team.

“Tony Romo is not registered to vote in the state of Nevada, and anybody trying to pose as Terrell Owens won’t be able to cast a ballot on Nov. 4,” Miller said.

Walsh said agents from both the secretary of state’s office and Nevada attorney general’s office conducted the raid at 9:30 a.m. local time, and “took a bunch of stuff.” Miller’s office reported seizing eight computer hard drives and about 20 boxes of documents.

Bertha Lewis, interim chief organizer for ACORN, released a statement saying the group has for months been turning over any suspicious registration information to elections officials. She said those officials routinely ignored their tips, and called the raid a “stunt.”

It tells you something that ACORN thinks enforcing voting law is a “stunt” and that this, one of nine or so investigations into their fraudulent activities spanning several states, is basically no big deal.

ACORN is knee deep in the foreclosure crisis as well as this Stanley Kurtz points out in this NRO piece:

I’ve already told the story of Obama’s close ties to ACORN leader Madeline Talbott, who personally led Chicago ACORN’s campaign to intimidate banks into making high-risk loans to low-credit customers. Using provisions of a 1977 law called the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Chicago ACORN was able to delay and halt the efforts of banks to merge or expand until they had agreed to lower their credit standards — and to fill ACORN’s coffers to finance “counseling” operations like the one touted in that Sun-Times article. This much we’ve known. Yet these local, CRA-based pressure-campaigns fit into a broader, more disturbing, and still under-appreciated national picture. Far more than we’ve recognized, ACORN’s local, CRA-enabled pressure tactics served to entangle the financial system as a whole in the subprime mess. ACORN was no side-show. On the contrary, using CRA and ties to sympathetic congressional Democrats, ACORN succeeded in drawing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac into the very policies that led to the current disaster.

In one of the first book-length scholarly studies of ACORN, Organizing Urban America, Rutgers University political scientist Heidi Swarts describes this group, so dear to Barack Obama, as “oppositional outlaws.” Swarts, a strong supporter of ACORN, has no qualms about stating that its members think of themselves as “militants unafraid to confront the powers that be.” “This identity as a uniquely militant organization,” says Swarts, “is reinforced by contentious action.” ACORN protesters will break into private offices, show up at a banker’s home to intimidate his family, or pour protesters into bank lobbies to scare away customers, all in an effort to force a lowering of credit standards for poor and minority customers. According to Swarts, long-term ACORN organizers “tend to see the organization as a solitary vanguard of principled leftists…the only truly radical community organization.”

College Presidents (and Perverts) Band Together to Lower the Drinking Age

It’s called the Amethyst Initiative and according to proponents the current drinking age encourages binge drinking in people under 21. Yeah, that’s exactly what they’re saying:

College presidents from about 100 of the nation’s best-known universities, including Duke, Dartmouth and Ohio State, are calling on lawmakers to consider lowering the drinking age from 21 to 18, saying current laws actually encourage dangerous binge drinking on campus.

The movement called the Amethyst Initiative began quietly recruiting presidents more than a year ago to provoke national debate about the drinking age.

“This is a law that is routinely evaded,” said John McCardell, former president of Middlebury College in Vermont who started the organization. “It is a law that the people at whom it is directed believe is unjust and unfair and discriminatory.”

Other prominent schools in the group include Syracuse, Tufts, Colgate, Kenyon and Morehouse.

But even before the presidents begin the public phase of their efforts, which may include publishing newspaper ads in the coming weeks, they are already facing sharp criticism.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving says lowering the drinking age would lead to more fatal car crashes. It accuses the presidents of misrepresenting science and looking for an easy way out of an inconvenient problem. MADD officials are even urging parents to think carefully about the safety of colleges whose presidents have signed on.

“It’s very clear the 21-year-old drinking age will not be enforced at those campuses,” said Laura Dean-Mooney, national president of MADD.

Both sides agree alcohol abuse by college students is a huge problem.

Research has found more than 40 percent of college students reported at least one symptom of alcohol abuse or dependance. One study has estimated more than 500,000 full-time students at four-year colleges suffer injuries each year related in some way to drinking, and about 1,700 die in such accidents.

A recent Associated Press analysis of federal records found that 157 college-age people, 18 to 23, drank themselves to death from 1999 through 2005.

Right. The fact is I’ve been clean and sober nearly eight years so I’m biased, but I can objectively tell you that binge drinking isn’t caused by having to hide your drinking or not being taught how to “drink right” but by the drinker’s inability to deal with various problems they have. Shyness, depression or the general ennui that develops in the young when their intellectual and spiritual lives are empty are more likely the culprits to binge drinking.

But Amethyst Initiative creator John McCardell Jr, who also is the founder of another group dedicated to lowering the drinking age called Choose Responsibility, would disagree with the above analysis and claim that people binge drink simply because they’re not allowed to drink with him or people his age. I’m nutshelling his position to be sure, but what these college presidents are advocating is for kids fresh out of high school to be able to accompany them to a bar. What they want is a wink and nudge college system where people like McCardell would be able to abdicate of their responsibility to provide guidance to their charges while every campus dorm becomes a set for Girls Gone Wild.

There’s something unseemly about people who work in a college advocating making it legal to get freshmen girls drunk. Maybe you have to spend as much time on college campuses as I did to really see it, but some of you know exactly what is driving this “initiative” to break down what I think is a good barrier between young adults not yet ready to make responsible decisions and the boomers who won’t grow up and stop trying to have sex with them.

But like I said, I’m biased toward staying sober so McCardell will say I’m just a prude. So will Robert Van Der Ohe though, and I’m sure he supports this nonsense.

M.A.D.D. is against this and they have some stats to back up their contention that raising the drinking age saved lives. The most important information they point to though, and key to understanding the nuances of the debate, is this SAMHSA study which shows that at least 40% of underage drinkers receive their alcohol free from a person over the age of 21. Or to translate: Old dudes like to get teens drunk to have sex with them.

There’s a site called Why 21 that also argues against lowering the drinking age.

Before the emails start I’d be fine with a lower drinking age if A) The people promoting it were honest about the facts of drinking and B) It wasn’t being pushed by some old dude from a state with liberal policies that have made it a haven for sex offenders which resulted in a higher rape rate. Pushing down the drinking age now will only give predators a larger pool of victims to prey on, and stop cops from arresting people prior to them committing a rape when found plying a teen with booze.
