Pipe Bomb, Bomb Making Materials Confiscated in Indianapolis

From WTHR:

Indianapolis – Metro police arrested two men for allegedly making and transporting homemade explosive devices.

A Metro police bomb technician emptied the items from the suspects’ car at a gas station at Southport Road and Emerson Avenue on the south side.

Police were looking for the vehicle after a report of shoplifting from a nearby Target Store. They found gun powder, fuses and at least one assembled explosive device.

“When they were conducting their investigation they noticed some of the items that were taken in the theft and then they started looking closer and saw some items that appeared to be the explosive devices,” said Lt. Jeff Duhamell.

“They entered the gas station and said we’ve got to close down. We’ve got to get everyone out in a hurry and everyone left in a hurry,” said Ron Montagua, witness.

Gregory Killion, 22, and 18-year-old Daniel Filskov face charges for shoplifting and possession of a destructive device.

I wonder what they were up to?

Surprise! A.N.S.W.E.R. Involved in Yesterday’s Violent Protests

They all but admit being involved in the riots at the RNC in this release they sent out begging for support of their arrested comrades:

Although it went virtually unmentioned in the corporate media, on Sept. 1, the largest anti-war march of 2008 took place outside the Republican National Convention in Minnesota. 30,000 people from all over the Midwest and the country gathered at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul and them marched to the Xcel Center, the site of the RNC. Large numbers of buses came from all over Illinois, Wisconsin, and the surrounding states.

The march was overwhelmingly young people, and was led by the veterans’ and immigrant rights contingents. Other sizable contingents included a strong labor contingent, a poor people’s contingent, and a contingent in solidarity with Palestine. The chant “”Iraq for Iraqis — Troops Out Now” filled the streets, along with the crowd favorite, “Who’s the Biggest Terrorists in the World Today? Bush, Cheney and the CIA!”

Among the many speakers at the Minnesota State Capitol, where the march gathered, was Michael Prysner, an Iraq war veteran who represented the ANSWER Coalition. Mike addressed the crowd, “I was sent to Iraq in 2003 not to save the Iraqi people, but to kill the Iraqi people. I was sent not to free the Iraqi people, but to imprison and torture the Iraqi people. I was sent not to liberate Iraq, but to occupy Iraq. There is no longer any question that this war was not for so-called “Iraqi freedom”, it was not an act of self-defense, and it was not simply a foreign policy error by the republican party- it was a well-calculated plan carried out by both parties to dominate the Middle East, killing as many innocent people as necessary and profiting from that human suffering.”

The police have engaged in a widespread riot against social justice organizations, resulting in the arrest of around 300 protesters. Most of the arrested are still in jail, and at least one person with a serious medical condition has been refused care.

Even before the Convention began, protesters had the organizing centers raided. Armed groups of police in the Twin Cities have raided more than half-a-dozen locations since Friday night in a series of “preemptive raids.” The raids and detentions have targeted activists planning to protest the convention, including journalists and videographers from I-Witness Video and the Glass Bead Collective. These media organizations were targeted because of the instrumental role they played in documenting police abuses the 2004 RNC Convention. Their comprehensive video coverage helped more than 400 wrongfully arrested people get their charges thrown out.

Democracy Now! producers Sharif Abdel Kouddous and Nicole Salazar — who clearly identified themselves as members of the media — were arrested, and could face suspicion of rioting charges, a felony. When Amy Goodman, host of Democracy Now! went to the scene to inquire with a police commander about the arrest of her producers, she too was arrested. A CodePink march and several breakaway marches were also met with police repression. Tear gas and concussion grenades have been used to disperse crowds.

There is an undeniable pattern of police repression at these conventions. In 2004, 1500 protesters were arrested at the RNC. Subsequent litigation on behalf of the protesters revealed that national and local enforcement conspired to deny protesters their civil liberties and civil rights. Protesters were held in miserable conditions, and only mass pressure forced the police to release them.

They then go on to ask for money, which is no doubt then distributed to the many terrorist groups they openly support. No mention of the guns and other weapons confiscated from their fellow travelers, or of the violent attacks on RNC delegates. Just a ready to release email sent scant hours after the mayhem they caused using the kids they helped push into a mindless conflict with the police as a fund raising tool for their terrorist friends.

The Michael Prysner quoted above is one of the new “winter soldiers” who has been making the rounds with A.N.S.W.E.R. and other Marxist groups claiming that America’s evil. A little bird told me he’s paid by the commies for each appearance so he makes a pretty good living slandering the troops. He’s also a great fund raising tool for the Worker’s World Party which controls most of the groups he works with.

Anyone else see a set up here? The cops claimed that many of their raids were driven by informants, and the Black Bloc contingent that started the violence may have been showing up at a lot of A.N.S.W.E.R. events. The thing is there haven’t been many instances where anarchists rioted with guns and certainly not with bows and arrows, it’s almost as if that stuff was planted there to get people arrested.

Long time communist shill Amy Goodman staged her arrest by interfering with them arresting her cohorts. And almost everyone else arrested was involved in outrageous activity you and I wouldn’t think we could get away with. I wonder how many kids were told that throwing stuff at cops was protected speech, or that if they got in trouble their “comrades” would help them?

Nothing mobilizes money to the communist cause like mass arrests it seems, so isn’t it convenient that so many “peace protesters” were arrested yesterday?

The Truth About Peace Protesters

There ain’t no such thing. Trench points us to this Star Tribune piece about some RNC protester arrests and the decidedly non-peaceful items confiscated from the self-described anarchists:

At least five suspected leaders of the RNC Welcoming Committee, a self-described anarchist group, were taken to the Hennepin County jail, and another was being sought, said Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher.

On Saturday afternoon, he displayed a number of the confiscated items: a gun, throwing knives, a bow and arrows, flammable liquids, paint, slingshots, rocks and buckets of urine.

“We know these things were going to be used as weapons,” Fletcher said, a charge protesters and their advocates vigorously disputed.

Fletcher however, stressed that he and other agencies had informants planted inside this and other groups for “a long period of time.”

Since they had informants placed in the anarchist groups “for a long period of time” I assume they have credible information on what these anarchists were up to, not that the anarchist didn’t publish their plans for mayhem on dozens of “underground” websites. So what does a peace protester do with a gun, a bow and arrow and some throwing knives anyway?

Just imagine if they had access to their weapons when this happened:

ST. PAUL –A protest near the site of the Republican National Convention gave way to violence Monday as demonstrators attacked members of the Connecticut delegation, smashed windows, slashed car tires and threw bottles during an anti-war march, St. Paul police said.

More than 80 people were arrested by police using pepper spray in some confrontations. Police were determining on a case-by-case basis how to process them.

Five people were accused of setting fire to a trash bin and pushing it into a police car, St. Paul police spokesman Tom Walsh said.

The violent demonstrators were mostly dressed in black and described themselves as anarchists. Most of the violence occurred in pockets of a neighborhood near downtown, several blocks from the Xcel Energy Center, where the convention was taking place. At the request of police, 150 Minnesota National Guard soldiers helped control splinter groups near downtown long after anti-war marchers had dispersed.

Protesters attacked members of the Connecticut delegation when they got off their buses near Xcel Center, delegates told FOX News.com and a local TV station.

A group of protesters came toward the delegation and tried to rip the credentials off their necks and sprayed them with a toxic substance that burned their eyes and stained their clothes, delegate Rob Simmons told KMSP-TV.

One 80-year-old member of the delegation had to be treated for injuries, and several other delegates had to rinse their eyes and clothing, the station reported.

Black Bloc, the perpetrators of this attack, had to settle for trying to blind innocent people with bleach rather than shoot them or skewer them with arrows. But the attack proves that that’s exactly what would have happened. The so-called “peace movement” is nothing more than a hate cult and Black Bloc is a rich kid’s riot club. They are no more for peace than they are law and order and their main goal is to injure or kill someone as this incident reported at Gateway Pundit proves. Here’s a video report on the RNC bus attack:

Atlas has more on the rioters. Z.A.C. has a whole blog dedicated to exposing the leftist “peace” movement and their allies.

Bomb Squad Detonates Suspicious Package in Denver, Terror Groups Converging?

Another report of possible terrorist activity during the DNC that seems to have gone unnoticed. This time what must have been a bomb was found and quietly disposed of by authorities:

A loud bang was heard along the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver this evening after police found and detonated a suspicious package near Union Station.

A spokesman for the Joint Information Center said there were no injuries. It was not immediately clear what the package contained before police used explosives to “render it safe,” in the spokesman’s words.

I’ve argued before that Denver authorities are trying hard to keep a lid on incidents to avoid embarrassment. Even Hillary-supporting die-hard Canonfire isn’t buying the authorities’ claim that White Supremacist tweakers caught planning to kill Obama was not a serious incident and certainly wasn’t terrorism. It seems that more and more non-terror related incidents that look like attempted terror attacks are taking place in Denver during the Democratic National Convention.

Lucky it’s all coincidence, huh?

Speaking of strange coincidences isn’t it odd that Alex Jones, who takes money from White Power organizations to advertise on his loathsome radio show, was in Denver just as some White Supremacists were planning on killing Obama?

Isn’t it odd that Alex Jones confronted Michelle Malkin with many of the same charges that Anisa Abd El Fattah, a black Muslim convert who has advocated an alliance with White Nationalists and even filed a complaint with the DOJ against the “Jewish lobby” on their behalf, made about Malkin in an editorial just days before the Jones incident?

Isn’t it odd that Saleman Abdirahman Dirie is being defended by an Islamic group with ties to Al-Qaeda? It should be noted Al-Qeada has reached out to White Supremacist organizations before:

Al Qaeda, she said, has shifted its mission, even aligning itself with neo-Nazis and white supremacists who are sympathetic to its new focus of fighting a “new world order.”

“We know that Al Qaeda is very, very good at finding people who have the right passport and speak the right language” to facilitate a terrorist attack, she said. “They are finding new allies and new sources of recruits.”

“New World Order.” Where have I heard that before?

And what’s odder is that the the convergence on Denver of this colorful cast of characters with recognizable ties to each other, all intent it seems on causing mayhem, is being swept under the rug by anxious authorities more interested in laying a heavy hand on reporters than ensuring the public is informed of the potential for catastrophe? It almost like the authorities don’t want the public to contemplate the possibility of Dirie, the tweakers and the more fringe visitors to the city being part of an ad hoc hit team sent to cause strife by killing some politicians.

I’ve blogged about the alliance between Islamists, White Supremacists and Communists before and with these incidents the danger of such disparate violent groups coming together becomes all the more obvious.

Who left this “suspicious device” in Denver and was it a bomb? It looks like we’ll never know for sure if the Denver cops have anything to say about it, but I’m willing to bet it was either a neo-Nazi or Islamist looking to cause chaos during the DNC convention.

I.C.E. Raid Actually Lowers Unemployment in Laurel, Mississippi

It also netted dozens of fraudulent I.D’s, many of which were cobbled together through identity theft:

I guess there are plenty of Americans that are willing to do those jobs Americans just won’t do. Unsaid in the report but patently obvious is the fact that illegal immigration is marginalizing Black Americans in ways it doesn’t for White Americans, no doubt the reason many liberals think criticism of open borders policy is racist. Ted Hayes and his Crispus Attucks Brigade have been on the forefront of the battle to make people realize this simple truth.

There’s an article in the Hattiesburg American that quotes several residents who were locked out of jobs by the plant’s preference to hire slave wage earning illegals:

Shantay Holles, 26, of Heidelberg said she used to work at Howard Industries as an electric tester but was fired last year. She said she is applying today because she heard on the news about the ICE raid.

“That’s all they would hire – Mexican, Mexican, Mexican!” Holles said.

Samantha Stevens, 18, a 2008 graduate of Heidelberg High School, said she couldn’t find a job and she is glad the ICE stepped in.

“We were here first. It’s not fair for them to have a job,” Stevens said.

Will Obama be standing up for Black folks once he accepts the nomination and will have the power to make this a real issue? Don’t count it says a new Republican PAC ad.
